1.Epidemiological characteristics of human brucellosis in Jiande City from 2005 to 2024

		                        			Objective:
		                        			To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of human brucellosis in Jiande City, Zhejiang Province from 2005 to 2024, so as to provide the evidence for strengthening the prevention and control of brucellosis.
		                        		
		                        			Methods:
		                        			Data on brucellosis cases and surveillance in Jiande City from 2005 to 2024 were collected through the Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System, the annual brucellosis surveillance reports from the Jiande Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the annual summaries of brucellosis prevention and control efforts. The epidemiological characteristics of human brucellosis were analyzed using a descriptive epidemiological method.
		                        		
		                        			Results:
		                        			A total of 1 125 individuals were monitored in Jiande City from 2005 to 2024, with 18 seropositive cases identified and the seropositivity rate of 1.60%. The average annual seropositivity rate from 2015 to 2024 was 3.35%, which was significantly higher than that of 0.57% from 2005 to 2014 (P<0.05). There were 10 confirmed brucellosis cases and 8 asymptomatic infections, with no reported deaths. The peak incidence occurred between March and August. Among the 16 towns (streets) in Jiande City, 8 reported brucellosis cases. Of the brucellosis cases, 14 were male and 4 were female, with a male-to-female ratio of 3.5∶1. The majority of cases (13 cases) were aged between 40 and 60 years. Occupational exposure was identified in 16 cases, all of whom were infected through direct hand contact with the excreta, secretions, or animal products of infected sheep or cattle. The primary source of infection was sheep, followed by cattle. Five strains of Brucella were isolated and cultured, all identified as Brucella melitensis biovar 3.
		                        		
		                        			Conclusions
		                        			The brucellosis epidemic in Jiande City remained at a sporadic and low prevalence level from 2005 to 2024, with an increasing trend observed from 2015 to 2024. Male occupational groups aged 40 to 60 years were the key population for brucellosis prevention and control, and sheep were the primary source of infection.

		                        			Objective:To analyze the risk factors of bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD)in very preterm infants(VPI), and to provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of BPD in VPI.Methods:A prospective multicenter study was designed to collect the clinical data of VPI in department of neonatology of 28 hospitals in 7 regions from September 2019 to December 2020.According to the continuous oxygen dependence at 28 days after birth, VPI were divided into non BPD group and BPD group, and the risk factors of BPD in VPI were analyzed.Results:A total of 2 514 cases of VPI including 1 364 cases without BPD and 1 150 cases with BPD were enrolled.The incidence of BPD was 45.7%.The smaller the gestational age and weight, the higher the incidence of BPD( P<0.001). Compared with non BPD group, the average birth age, weight and cesarean section rate in BPD group were lower, and the incidence of male infants, small for gestational age and 5-minute apgar score≤7 were higher( P<0.01). In BPD group, the incidences of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS), hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus, retinopathy of prematurity, feeding intolerance, extrauterine growth restriction, grade Ⅲ~Ⅳ intracranial hemorrhage, anemia, early-onset and late-onset sepsis, nosocomial infection, parenteral nutrition-associated cholestasis were higher( P<0.05), the use of pulmonary surfactant(PS), postnatal hormone exposure, anemia and blood transfusion were also higher, and the time of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, oxygen use and total hospital stay were longer( P<0.001). The time of starting enteral nutrition, cumulative fasting days, days of reaching total enteral nutrition, days of continuous parenteral nutrition, days of reaching 110 kcal/(kg·d) total calorie, days of reaching 110 kcal/(kg·d) oral calorie were longer and the breastfeeding rate was lower in BPD group than those in non BPD group( P<0.001). The cumulative doses of amino acid and fat emulsion during the first week of hospitalization were higher in BPD group( P<0.001). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that NRDS, invasive mechanical ventilation, age of reaching total enteral nutrition, anemia and blood transfusion were the independent risk factors for BPD in VPI, and older gestational age was the protective factor for BPD. Conclusion:Strengthening perinatal management, avoiding premature delivery and severe NRDS, shortening the time of invasive mechanical ventilation, paying attention to enteral nutrition management, reaching whole intestinal feeding as soon as possible, and strictly mastering the indications of blood transfusion are very important to reduce the incidence of BPD in VPI.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Application of digital design combined with 3D-printing technologies in dental autotransplantation

		                        			Objective:
		                        			To evaluate the therapeutic effect of dental autotransplantation with the application of digital design combined with 3D printing of donor tooth models and recipient alveolar fossa model preoperatively.
		                        		
		                        			Methods:
		                        			 Twelve cases that could not be retained due to tooth fracture or extensive absorption of alveolar bone were recruited in the study. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) data were imported into Mimics software for digital design, and the best-matched third molar was selected as the donor tooth. Replicas of the donor teeth and the recipient socket were printed out with three-dimensional (3D) printing technologies as a simulation model for recipient tooth socket preparation. During tooth autotransplantation, preparation of the recipient tooth socket and the donor tooth were guided by the 3D-printed replicas sequentially. Then, the donor tooth was implanted into the recipient tooth pocket. Patients were followed up at 3, 6 and 12 months after the operation, with CBCT examination to evaluate the status of bone reconstruction and periodontal ligaments at each time point. 
		                        		
		                        			Results:
		                        			Twelve patients were transplanted with an autogenous third molar with the apical foramen completely closed. Among them, 7 patients had alveolar fossa infection before the operation, of which 1 had extensive resorption of the alveolar bone due to the infection. All 12 patients recovered well after the operation and were followed up for at least 12 months. In total, 11 caseswere successful in tooth autotransplantation with normal mastication, and 1 case had root resorption 14 months postoperation.
		                        		
		                        			Conclusion
		                        			Digital design combined with 3D printing technology can assistin the selection of thebest-matched donor tooth and preparation of the recipient socket before tooth transplantation proceduresand reduce the extra-alveolar exposure time of the donor tooth and number of trial placementsintothe alveolar fossa. 4.Metabolic engineering tools for Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

		                        			Since its birth in the early 1990s, metabolic engineering technology has gone 30 years rapid development. As one of the preferred chassis for metabolic engineering, S. cerevisiae cells have been engineered into microbial cell factories for the production of a variety of bulk chemicals and novel high value-added bioactive compounds. In recent years, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, machine learning and other technologies have also greatly contributed to the technological development and applications of metabolic engineering. This review summarizes the important technological development for metabolic engineering of S. cerevisiae in the past 30 years. Firstly, classical metabolic engineering tools and strategies were reviewed, followed by reviewing systems metabolic engineering and synthetic biology driven metabolic engineering approaches. 5.Sporadic meningioangiomatosis: a clinicopathological analysis

		                        			Objective:To analyze the clinicopathological characteristics, diagnosis and prognosis of meningioangiomatosis (MA), and to investige the possible origion of spindle cells.Methods:Seventeen cases of MA were collected at Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University and the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University, from June 2012 to March 2020. The clinical manifestations, radiologic, histopathologic, immunohistochemical features and patients′ outcome were analyzed. The presumed origin of spindle cells was evaluated by immunohistochemical staining.Results:Of the 17 patients, 9 were males and 8 were females. The age ranged from 3 to 56 years old. Thirteen patients presented with seizure as the initial symptom. The lesions were solitary and located in the cerebral cortex. Histopathologically, there were proliferation of small blood vessels and perivascular spindle cells in the cerebral cortex. The spindle cells had no obvious atypia, mitoses and necrosis. Four cases were combined with transitional meningioma. Immunohistochemically, the proliferative perivascular spindle cells were positive for vimentin in all cases, and focally positive for EMA and SSTR2. Ki-67 proliferation index was low. Neurofibrillary tangles were demonstrated by AT8. All 17 patients received surgical treatment and were followed up for one to 93 months. None had seizure attacks or tumor recurrence.Conclusions:MA is a rare slow-growing intracranial lesion, and the perivascular spindle cells could be derived from meningothelial cells, and MA is often associated with degeneration of the cerebral cortex and meningioma. 6. Neuropathologic study of massive subcortical heterotopia

		                        			To investigate the clinicpathologic features and probable mechanisms of massive subcortical heterotopia.
		                        		
		                        			Methods:
		                        			Clinical data, histologic features and neuropathologic data were analyzed in five cases of massive subcortical heterotopia collected from Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2014 to October 2017.
		                        		
		                        			Results:
		                        			All five patients (three males and two females) had a history of refractory epilepsy with a mean period of 15.4 years (range 7 to 21 years). The median age at surgery was 28.6 years(range 20 to 39 years). Magnetic resonance imaging showed that the lesions were located in the temporal lobe (two cases), parietal lobe (one case), both temporal and occipital lobes (one case) and both temporal and parietal lobes (one case). Pathologic examination disclosed that massive gray matter in subcortical and deep white matter with various shape and size. Moreover, one case also showed subpial and periventricular heterotopias and polymicrogyria. Polymicrogyria or hippocampal sclerosis were seen in the remaining three cases. None of the five patients experienced seizure attacks during the follow-up period.
		                        		
		                        			Conclusions
		                        			Heterotopia is malformations due to abnormal neuronal migration. Massive subcortical heterotopia due to widespread abnormal neuronal migration is relatively rare. 7.Effects of delayed umbilical cord clamping on maternal and neonatal outcomes

		                        			Objective To determine the effects of delayed umbilical cord clamping on the postpartum hemorrhage,instant and long-term newborn anemia,newborn jaundice.Methods In total,303 infants were selected during October 2016 to June 2017 in three hospitals in Beijing.They were randomly allocated into two groups receiving instant clamping of umbilical cord (less than 60s after delivery,n=158) and delayed clamping of umbilical cord(after cord pulsation ceased,n=145).Relevant indicators of maternal and neonatal outcomes are compared.Results There were significant differences between two groups in instant hemoglobin concentration and in 5~7 days (P<0.05).There were no differences between two groups in transcutaneous bilirubin,the risk of anemia in three months,the risk of jaundice in 5~7 days and the need of blue-light therapy (P>0.05).There were no differences between two groups of women in postpartum hemorrhage,the length of third stage of labor and the rate of breast feeding (P>0.05).Conclusion Clamping the umbilical cord when cord pulsation has ceased does not have negative effects on delivery process and postpartum hemorrhage,but it increases the instant hemoglobin concentration and hemoglobin concentration after delivery in 5~7 days.Still it is unclear whether it will affect the risk of jaundice.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
8.Expression of hypoxia inducible factor 1αand glucose transporter 1 in lung adenocarcinoma and their clinical significances

		                        			Objective To investigate the expression of hypoxia inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) and glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1) in lung adenocarcinoma and its correlation with tumor metastasis. Methods SP immunohistochemistry was used to detect GLUT1 and HIF-1α protein expression in 125 lung adenocarcinoma, including 41 cases without metastasis, 38 cases with lymphatic metastasis and 46 cases with brain metastasis. The correlation of GLUT1 and HIF-1α in lung adenocarcinoma metastasis was analyzed by using x 2 test and Pearson correlation analysis. Results Most lung adenocarcinoma were histologically heterogeneous, which contained more than one adenocarcinoma type. 73.2 % (30/41) cases were acinar predominant adenocarcinoma in lung adenocarcinoma without metastasis; 53.6 % (15/38) cases were acinar predominant adenocarcinoma and 26.3 % (10/38) cases were solid predominant adenocarcinoma in lung adenocarcinoma with lymphatic metastasis; 47.8 % (22/46) cases were papillary predominant adenocarcinoma and 34.8 % (16/46) cases were solid predominant adenocarcinoma in lung adenocarcinoma with brain metastases. The expression level of GLUT1 and HIF-1α in lung adenocarcinoma with lymphatic metastasis group was higher than that of the group without tumor metastasis (P< 0.05); the expression of GLUT1 and HIF-1α were positively correlated (r=0.407, P=0.000). Conclusions Papillary adenocarcinoma is the most histological type in lung adenocarcinoma with brain metastasis, suggesting that papillary adenocarcinoma is more prone to brain metastasis. The expression of GLUT1 and HIF-1α play an important role in lymph node metastasis and brain metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
9.Surgical Treatment of 13 Cases of Delayed Traumatic Chest Wall Abscess

		                        			This paper reported 13 cases of delayed traumatic chest wall abscess from January 2012 to January 2015.All the patients were associated with type 2 diabetes.After local puncture for confirmative diagnosis, a chest wall abscess dissection was carried out as soon as possible.At each site of upper and lower pole, an indwelling drainage tube was placed for irrigation and negative pressure suction.Sensitive antibiotics were selected based on susceptibility test results.The drainage tubes were removed 7-14 days after surgery.There were 8 cases of primary healing of incision and 5 cases of secondary healing of incision.All the patients were cured.Follow-ups for 6-36 months (average, 17 months) showed no recurrence.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
10.A case of pregnancy complicated by non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and chronic viral hepatitis

		                        			Pregnancy complicated by non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) has rarely been reported. Few reports in the medical liter-ature focus on pregnancy complicated by both NHL and hepatitis B virus infection. A multidisciplinary discussion is conducted concern-ing the treatment of the patient.
