Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2025;33(8):666-671
Objective:
To investigate treatment strategies for chronic periapical periodontitis in prematurely erupted premolars and provide guidance for managing pulp and periapical diseases in young permanent teeth with immature roots.
Methods:
A regenerative endodontic procedure (REP) was performed on a prematurely erupted maxillary left first premolar (tooth 24) at Nolla stage Ⅶ with chronic apical periodontitis, following standardized protocols including root canal irrigation, disinfection, and coronal sealing. The case was followed up, and a literature review was conducted.
Results:
Clinical resolution of symptoms was observed on tooth 24, with sustained root development. After a 20-month follow-up, the tooth had restored biological function. Literature synthesis revealed that periapical infections in prematurely erupted permanent teeth predominently arise from pulp exposure and bacterial infection, with retrograde infection being rare. For young permanent teeth with necrotic pulp, regenerative endodontic procedures has been established as the treatment of choice to promote apical closure and root maturation. The critical steps of regenerative endodontic procedures include thorough disinfection, induced bleeding to form a fibrin scaffold, and coronal sealing to facilitate stem cell recruitment and differentiation.
Conclusion
Regenerative endodontic procedures represents an effective and viable treatment option for prematurely erupted young permanent teeth with chronic periapical periodontitis.

Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2023;58(3):494-499
Objective:
To explore the value of vector angle of Lorenz plots(LPs) and the role of combining B-line slope in improving the diagnostic efficiency of arrhythmia.
Methods:
LPs of 119 cases with ventricular premature contraction (VPC group ) ,97 cases with supraventricular premature contraction(SPC group) ,52 cases with type II°I atrioventricular block ( Ⅱ ° Ⅰ group) and 54 cases with type Ⅱ ° Ⅱ atrioventricular / sinoatrial block ( Ⅱ ° Ⅱ group) were retrospectively analyzed. The B-line slope and vector angle were measured, and the differences between groups were compared. Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of B-line slope, vector angle and their combination between groups ,and MedCalc software was used for statistical comparison. The consistency of intra-observer and inter-observer measurements of B-line slope and vector angle was evaluated using Intra group correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman plot.
Results:
There were significant differences between VPC group and SPC group,and between Ⅱ ° Ⅰ group and II°II group (P<0. 05) .The area under the curve (AUC) of B-line slope,vector angle,and the combination of the two in distinguishing ventricular and supraventricular premature contraction were 0. 81,0. 84 and 0. 87 respectively,and the AUC in distinguishing type Ⅱ ° Ⅰ and type Ⅱ ° Ⅱ atrioventricular / sinoatrial block were 0. 76,0. 78 and 0. 80 respectively.The ICC of vector angle was better than B-line slope (Intra-observer 0. 99 vs 0. 98,Inter-observer 0. 97 vs 0. 96) .
Conclusion
Vector angle can be used to identify the type of arrhythmia, and has good intraobserver and interobserver consistency. Its combination with B-line slope has the highest accuracy in diagnosing arrhythmia, providing a new reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2020;26(2):125-135
Objective To use World Health Organization Family International Classifications (WHO-FICs) to explore the framework and approaches of development and research of guidelines of rehabilitation at levels of policies, community and services. Methods The important documents and tools of rehabilitation at international level, including United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, WHO World Report on Disability, Community-based Rehabilitation Guideline, Rehabilitation in Health Service System, and International Classification of Diseases (ICD), International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), and International Classification of Health Intervention (ICHI) of WHO-FICs, had been discussed. Results The framework, classifications, diagnosis and description of diseases and functioning, coding, intervention and functioning evaluation based on ICD-11, ICF and ICHI-β-2 had been established for development and implementation of rehabilitation guidelines and Cochrane rehabilitation. Conclusion The framework and systematic approaches of ontology, classification, terminology, coding, diagnosis and description of diseases and functioning, interventions and evaluations for the development and implementation of rehabilitation guidelines had been developed.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(8):783-784
Objective To investigate the application validity of the adjusted norm of WAIS-RC in the identification of intellectual disability.Methods128 patients with mental retardation (MR) were chosen for identification of the intellectual disability, measured their full scale IQs (FIQ) according to the original norm, calculated their four-subtest short forms FIQ respectively by Tellegen way according to the original standard norm and the new adjusted norm, then compared and analyzed the outcomes.ResultsThe short forms FIQ according to the original and the new norm had high correlation to full forms FIQ (P<0.01). The average of the short forms FIQ was higher than full forms FIQ according to the original norm (P<0.01), showing no significant difference according to the new norm(P>0.05). In severe intelligence defected group according to full forms IQ, the grade classification corresponding rate of short forms FIQ according to the new norm was 0.00%, as well as the original norm. That in medium and mild intelligence defected groups was higher than that of original norm(P<0.01).ConclusionThe test validity of adjusted norm short forms of WAIS-RC is superior to the original norm, but not suitable for severe intelligence defected.
