Osteoporosis causes more than 8.9 million fractures annually worldwide.
Osteoporosis is a silent disease until it is complicated by fractures that can occur
following minimal trauma. These fractures are common and place an enormous
medical and personal burden on aging individuals and a major economic toll on the
nation. Osteoporosis is a progressive systemic skeletal disease characterized by
reduced bone mass/density and microarchitectural deterioration of bone tissue‖
(National Institute for clinical Excellence, 2004). Goals: This study was to determine
and compare the results of Calcite Oral Solution effect on femoral bonescalcification
and mineralizationin Osteoporosis Model Rats Induced with Retinoic Acid (RA).
