Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2024;40(25):1929-1939
Objective:To assess the methodological and measurement quality of comprehensive assessment tools for evaluating senile dementia, in order to provide evidence-based guidance for clinical selection of the best assessment tool. Methods:Manually searched CNKI, Wanfang Database, VIP Database, SinoMed, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, ProQuest, Ovid and Scopus databases to collect and evaluate comprehensive assessment tool measurements forsenile dementia. For research on academic attributes, the search time limit was from the establishment of the database to January 4th, 2024. Two researchers independently screened the literature and extracted information, used the COSMIN guidelines to evaluate the included assessment tools, and formed final recommendations. Results:A total of 14 articles were included, including 9 comprehensive assessment tools for the elderly with dementia. Among them, the Care Needs Assessment Scale for Alzheimer′s Disease Patients had moderate and above evidence proving that its content validity and internal consistency were "sufficient", so it was a category A strong recommendation. The remaining 8 evaluation tools were all category B recommendations. Conclusions:Among the existing comprehensive assessment tools for the elderly with dementia, the Care Needs Assessment Scale for Alzheimer′s Disease Patients has good reliability and validity. This scale has 4 dimensions and 16 items. However, there are uncertainties and unmentioned measurement properties of the scale in terms of cross-cultural validity/measurement equivalence, stability, measurement error, hypothesis testing, calibration validity, and responsiveness. More evidence is needed in the future to further comprehensively validate and improve it, providing a basis for selecting a more effective, comprehensive and high-quality comprehensive assessment tool for the elderly with dementia.

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2023;36(2):95-100
Autologous ozonized blood transfusion(AOBT) is a therapy of re-transfusion of 100-200 mL of autologous blood after shaking and agitation with appropriate amount of oxygen-ozone in vitro. The oxidation of blood through the strong oxidation of ozone can enhance the non-specific immune response of the body, regulate the internal environment and promote health. This therapy has been increasingly applied in clinical practice, while no unified standard for the operation process in terms of ozone concentration, treatment frequency and treatment course had been established. This operation process of AOBT is primarily explored in order to standardize the operation process and ensure its safety and efficacy.

Objective:To use the resting state functional network connectivity (FNC) method based on independent component analysis (ICA) to analyze the characteristics of FNC changes in patients with basal ganglia aphasia (BGA) after stroke, and to explore its occurrence and recovery mechanism under the intervention of acupuncture combined with language rehabilitation training. Methods:Using a prospective observational research method, 16 right-handed BGA patients who were treated at Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Capital Medical University from July 2021 to December 2022, as well as 14 healthy subjects matched in age, gender, education level, and handedness, were included. The resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging, demographic information, and Western Aphasia Examination data of healthy subjects and BGA patients before and after intervention were collected. The GIFT toolbox based on MATLAB platform was applied for ICA and resting state brain network FNC analysis. The FNC differences between BGA patients and healthy subjects were compared horizontally, and the FNC changes in BGA patients before and after intervention were compared vertically. Results:Compared with healthy subjects, post-stroke BGA patients showed decreased connectivity between the basal ganglia network, default network, and visual network before intervention, while increased connectivity between the auditory network, right frontoparietal network, and anterior cuneiform network; After the intervention of acupuncture combined with language rehabilitation training, the connectivity between the basal ganglia network, visual network, and anterior cuneiform network decreased, while the connectivity between the anterior convex network and bilateral frontoparietal network decreased, while the connectivity between the default network, auditory network, right frontoparietal network, and visual network increased. The BGA patient group showed enhanced connectivity between the basal ganglia network and the left frontoparietal network before and after intervention. Conclusions:The FNC changes between the basal ganglia network and other brain networks are key to reflecting the mechanism of BGA occurrence and language function recovery. Acupuncture combined with language rehabilitation training may improve language function by enhancing the connectivity between the basal ganglia network and the left frontoparietal network, and the redistribution of attention resources may also be one of the reasons for promoting language function recovery in BGA patients.

Objective:To investigate the detection rate of motoric cognitive risk(MCR)syndrome and explore the possible risk factors at different age groups. Methods:A total of 561 patients from geriatric outpatient clinic of Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2018 to December 2019 were divided into two age groups under 70 years old(n=241)and 70 years old and above(n=320). The general information, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Geriatric Depression Scale-15(GDS-15), 4-meter walking test, Mini-Mental State Examination and Morse Fall Scale were collected.Patients with MCR were screened out according to the MCR diagnostic criteria.Logistic multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the associated risk factors.Results:7 cases(7/241, 2.9%)met the MCR diagnostic criteria in age<70 years group, and 34 cases(34/320, 10.7%)in age ≥ 70 years group. The proportion of hearing impairment complaints and GDS-15 scores of MCR patients were higher than those of the non-MCR group in age<70 years group, and the Morse Fall Scale of MCR patients was higher than that of the non-MCR group in age ≥70 years old group( P<0.05). After adjusting for associated confounding factors, multiple logistic regression analysis showed that hearing impairment complaints( OR=26.394, P<0.05)and GDS-15( OR=1.385, P<0.05)were independent risk factors for MCR in age<70 years group. And female( OR=0.445, P<0.05)was a protective factor for MCR in age ≥70 years old group. Conclusions:Motoric cognitive risk syndrome has different risk factors in different age groups, which may indicate that the causes and predictive significance of MCR in these two different age groups are different.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2019;32(7):780-784
Circular RNA is a special kind of endogenous non-coding RNA which is widely existing in eukaryotic cells. More studies confirmed that most circRNAs were produced in the process of RNA shearing and played a vital role in the occurrence and development of many diseases. Though there was not much research on circRNAs related to orthopaedic diseases in recent years, study found that circRNAs played a great significant role in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, target therapy of degenerative diseases(osteoarthritis, lumbar degenerative disease), metabolic diseases(osteoporosis) and motor system tumor(osteosarcoma). This study summarizes the research progress of circRNAs in orthopaedic diseases.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2019;39(1):13-22
OBJECTIVE:
To screen potential plasma protein biomarkers for the progression of cervical precancerous lesions into cervical carcinoma and analyze their functions.
METHODS:
Plasma samples obtained from healthy control subjects, patients with low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL), high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL), cervical cancer (CC), and patients with CC after treatment were enriched for low-abundance proteins for liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis. The MS data of the samples were analyzed using Discoverer 2.2 software, and the differential proteins (peptide coverage ≥20%, unique peptides≥2) were screened by comparison of LSIL, HSIL and CC groups against the control group followed by verification using target proteomics technology. Protein function enrichment and coexpression analyses were carried out to explore the role of the differentially expressed proteins as potential biomarkers and their pathological mechanisms.
RESULTS:
Compared with the control group, both LSIL group and HSIL group showed 9 differential proteins; 5 differentially expressed proteins were identified in CC group. The proteins ORM2 and HPR showed obvious differential expressions in LSIL and HSIL groups compared with the control group, and could serve as potential biomarkers for the progression of cervical carcinoma. The expression of F9 increased consistently with the lesion progression from LSIL to HSIL and CC, suggesting its value as a potential biomarker for the progression of cervical cancer. CFI and AFM protein levels were obviously decreased in treated patients with CC compared with the patients before treatment, indicating their predictive value for the therapeutic efficacy. Protein function enrichment analysis showed that all these differentially expressed proteins were associated with the complement system and the coagulation cascades pathway.
CONCLUSIONS
We identified 5 new protein biomarkers (F9, CFI, AFM, HPR, and ORM2) for cervical precancerous lesions and for prognostic evaluation of CC, and combined detection of these biomarkers may help in the evaluation of the development and progression of CC and also in improving the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of cervical lesions.
