Journal of Public Health and Preventive Medicine 2024;35(6):77-80
Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics and influencing factors of Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) infection in children with respiratory tract infection in Yangzhou , and provide theoretical guidance for the prevention of this disease. Methods Pharyngeal swab sample was collected from Children of 21 403 in the Respiratory Infection Outpatient Department of Subei People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province from January 2022 to December 2023,and fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to detect MP-DNA in samples to analyze the detection of MP . A self-made questionnaire was used to collect information on children's hand hygiene, family dietary habits, indoor air conditioning usage, and outdoor exercise. Binary logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in children. Results The overall infection rate of Mycoplasma pneumoniae in resident children aged 0-14 in Yangzhou from 2022 to 2023 was 32.04%(6 857/21 403). There was an age difference in the positive rate of Mycoplasma pneumoniae in children, with a higher incidence in the 7-14 years old ( P < 0.001) . There were differences in the infection rate of Mycoplasma pneumoniae in children with different BMI, geographical location, exercise intensity , frequency of using air conditioning ventilation mode, frequency of washing hands before and after meals, frequency of daily drinks、sweets or snacks, and frequency of brushing teeth per day ( P < 0.05 ) .The logistic regression results showed that age between 1-3 years old , BMI ≥ 24 , and never washing hands before and after meals were independent influencing factors for Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in children ; monthly cumulative precipitation , PM2.5 , and O3 increase the risk of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in children , while PM10 reduces the risk of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in children. Conclusion The positive rate of Mycoplasma pneumoniae in 7-14 year old children in Yangzhou is relatively high. BMI, never washing hands before and after meals, and meteorological factors are closely related to Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection.

Journal of Public Health and Preventive Medicine 2023;34(3):98-101
Objective The risk prediction factors of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis were analyzed, and the risk prediction model was constructed to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis in patients with CKD. Methods Stratified sampling was used to randomly select 289 patients with CKD admitted to our hospital as the investigation objects. According to whether patients complicated with tuberculosis, they were divided into experimental group (n=65, CKD complicated with tuberculosis) and control group (n=224, CKD). Univariate analysis and logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of pulmonary tuberculosis in PATIENTS with CKD. According to the regression results, the risk prediction model of pulmonary tuberculosis in CKD patients was established, and the ROC curve was used to predict the efficacy of the model. Results Among 289 patients with CKD, 65 cases (22.49%) had pulmonary tuberculosis. Chest X-ray showed 54 cases of infiltrating pulmonary tuberculosis, 5 cases of voiding pulmonary tuberculosis, 4 cases of caseous pneumonia and 2 cases of tuberculous pleurisy. The main clinical manifestations of CKD complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis were low fever, poor appetite and fatigue in 36 cases, cough and expectoration in 18 cases, high fever in 9 cases and pleural effusion in 2 cases. Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture was positive in 23 cases (35.38%). There were no significant differences in age, CKD stage, past tuberculosis history, low immunity, malnutrition, dialysis treatment, anemia and hypoproteinemia between 2 groups (P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that low immunity, malnutrition and dialysis treatment were independent risk factors for pulmonary tuberculosis in CKD (P<0.05). Risk of tuberculosis in patients with CKD prediction model for P = 1/(1+e-(0.496+0.839×(low immunity)+ 0.892×(malnutrition)+ 1.247×(dialysis)]; ROC curve was used to analyze the predictive efficacy of the regression model. The results showed that the AUC of pulmonary tuberculosis predicted by the risk prediction model was 0.779, 95%Cl(0.668-0.889) for CKD patients. Conclusion The risk of tuberculosis in CKD is higher, low immunity, malnutrition, dialysis treatment of CKD patients is high risk for tuberculosis, according to the specific situation of the patients, take targeted measures to prevention, can reduce the risk of tuberculosis in patients with CKD.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the different therapeutic effects of different formulations of recombinant human growth hormone on idiopathic short stature and the related factors before treatment. METHODS Retrospective analysis was performed on children aged 4-8 years who were diagnosed as idiopathic short stature at the Child Health Department of Sichuan Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 and treated with different formulation of recombinant human growth hormone. The changes of height growth value and growth factor levels of children in different groups during different treatment periods were compared. At the same time, Logistic regression analysis was carried out on the related factors affecting the effect of height growth before treatment. RESULTS There was no significant difference in height, IGF-1 and IGF-BP3 growth between the two groups at each stage of treatment, except for the statistical difference in IGF-BP3 increment at the third month of treatment(P<0.05); The age of treatment had an effect on the height growth outcome of children, and there was statistical significance(OR=0.258, 95%CI 0.109-0.609, P=0.002). The remaining factors had no obvious influence. CONCLUSION There is no difference in the therapeutic effect of different formulation of recombinant human growth hormone on idiopathic short stature. The age of beginning use is the main factor that affects the effect of using growth hormone.

Journal of Public Health and Preventive Medicine 2021;32(4):96-99
Objective To explore the hospitalization time and family financial burden of children under 14 years old with severe asthma in this region. Methods Children under 14 years old with severe asthma who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 as a result of an acute attack were selected in this study. Questionnaire surveys, hospital charging system, and follow-up methods were used to collect clinical data, length of hospital stay, and direct and indirect costs of the children with asthma. Stepwise regression was applied to analyze the factors influencing the total cost. Results A total of 206 children were enrolled from 2017 to 2019, including 117 males and 89 females, with an average age of (7.24±1.53) years old. The total age distribution mainly consisted of six months to 3 years old (33.01%), >3 to 4 years old (24.27%), and >6-13 years old (20.39%). The onset season was mainly autumn and winter (33.01%). The average length of hospital stay was (8.50±1.42) d. The annual average family cost was (6884.20±957.61) RMB. The length of hospital stay decreased year by year, while the total cost increased year by year (P<0.05). Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the length of hospitalization, antibiotic use time, and presence/absence of allergic rhinitis, pulmonary heart disease and GINA standard treatment were the related factors affecting the total cost in children with severe asthma (P<0.05). Conclusion From 2017 to 2019, the hospitalization time of children under 14 years old with severe asthma in this region decreased over time, while the total cost gradually increased. Shortening the hospitalization time, actively preventing and controlling complications, and standardizing treatment can effectively reduce the financial burden of children39;s families.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2018;26(7):422-427
Objective:
To investigate the osteogenic properties of maxillary sinus membrane stem cells (MSMSCs).
Methods :
Beagle maxillary sinus mucosa was collected, immunomagnetic bead method was applied for isolation of CD146+ cells, and MSMSCs were harvested and cultured from the canine maxillary sinus floor mucosa. The levels of the cell surface antigens CD44, CD146, and CD34 were determined at passage one by flow cytometry. Cells at passage one were cultured in basal medium and osteogenic inductive medium. Real-time PCR, immunohistochemical staining, alkaline phosphatase activity, alizarin red staining and Von Kossa staining were used to investigate the osteogenic properties in vitro.
Results:
The canine MSMSCs were cultured successfully. The results of flow cytometry were positive for CD146 and CD44 expression but negative for CD34 expression. The relative mRNA expression of runt-related transcription factor 2 (RUNX2) (t = 14.44,P < 0.001), osteopontin (OPN) (t = 7.85,P = 0.001) and alkaline phosphatase alkaline phosphatase (t = 14.27,P < 0.001) was apparently higher in the osteoinductive medium group than in the basal medium group, the differences in relative mRNA expression between the groups were significant. The protein levels of RUNX2 and OPN increased in the osteoinductive medium group. The alkaline phosphatase activity of the MSMSCs increased when the cells were cultured in osteoinductive medium; the activity increased to a level that was significantly higher than that in basal medium, particularly at days 3 (t = 8.79, P < 0.001), 7 (t = 9.75,P < 0.001), 14 (t = 12.14,P < 0.001), 21 (t = 19.62,P < 0.001) and 28 (t = 17.53,P < 0.001). Obvious mineralized nodules were observed by alizarin red staining or Von Kossa staining.
Conclusion
Maxillary sinus membrane stem cells exhibit osteogenic ability.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2018;26(7):451-455
Objective:
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the clinical outcomes of implant-supported prostheses for oral function rehabilitation in patients with ectodermal dysplasia.
Methods :
Thirteen patients were included in the present study. After bone augmentation, zygomatic implants (ZIs) or regular implants (RIs) were placed, fabrication of dental prostheses were applied, and psychological and oral education was carried out. Implant survival rates, patient satisfaction and other related evaluation indicators were assessed.
Results:
The ilium was chosen for autogenic bone grafts in two patients. The fibula was used in two other patients and the mandibular ramus in one other patient. One patient was treated through alveolar distraction osteogenesis of the mandible. Guided bone regeneration was applied in seven other patients. Bone graft resorption in the maxilla was observed in one patient; bone augmentation of the mandible was successful in all patients, and no obvious bone resorption was observed. One hundred and eighteen implants were placed, among which 22 were ZIs, and 96 were RIs. Five RIs failed and were removed. The survival rate for ZIs was 100%, and the survival rate for RIs was 94.79%, in a follow up after 3 years. All patients were satisfied with the restoration of their oral function. More than 50% of the patients exhibited self-confidence.
Conclusion
Oral function can be restored in edentulous ectodermal dysplasia patients using bone augmentation and implant-supported prostheses, and patient self-confidence can be enhanced. However, the resorption of grafted bone in the anterior region of the maxilla cannot be ignored.

Objective To explore the effect of Governor Vessel electroacupuncture in different time points on motor function and p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR) after spinal cord injury. Methods A total of 180 adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups (one day, three days and seven days after modeling), and each group was divided into normal control group, normal electroacupuncture group, sham operation group, model group and Governor Vessel electroacupuncture group with 12 cases in each group. The spinal cord injury model was established with the modified Allen39;s method. The normal electroacupuncture group and the Governor Vessel electroacupuncture group received electroacupuncture on Dazhui (DU14) and Mingmeng (DU04) acupoints. Basso-Beattic-Bresnahan (BBB) Scale was performed to assess the motor function of rats. The expression of p75NTR was detected with Western blotting. Results The BBB score of the model group and the Governor Vessel electroacupuncture group were significantly lower than that of the other three groups. The BBB score was significantly higher in the Governor Vessel electroacupuncture group than in the model group seven days after intervention (t=-4.510, P<0.001). The expression of p75NTR was siginificantly lower in the Governor Vessel electroacupuncture group than in the model group (P<0.01). Conclusion The expression of p75NTR increased after spinal cord injury. Governor Vessel electroacupuncture could improve the motor function, and inhibit the p75NTR expression of damaged spinal cord tissues.
