Objective:To understand the current situation of female cancer survivors′ self-advocacy and analyze its influencing factors.Methods:Convenience sampling was used. From August to November 2021, 243 female cancer survivors from 10 tertiary A hospitals in Jiangsu Province were selected as the research objects. The general information questionnaire and the Female Self-Advocacy in Cancer Survivorship (FSACS)were used for the survey. Multiple stepwise linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of female cancer survivors′ self-advocacy rights.Results:The self-advocacy score of this group of female cancer survivors was (82.42±10.42); the results of multiple stepwise linear regression analysis showed that education level was an influencing factor for female cancer survivors′self-advocacy ( P<0.05), but age, marital status, number of children, work status, family monthly income, reimbursement method, illness time, disease diagnosis, and disease stage had nothing to do with female cancer survivors′ self-advocacy( P>0.05). Conclusions:Female cancer survivors′ self-advocacy is affected by their educational level.It is recommended that medical staff pay attention to patients with low education level, provide personalized guidance according to their conditions, and encourage them to actively obtain external information, seek effective communication and external support, so as to improve Self-advocacy ability.

Objective:To explore the effects of the extract of Sanchen powder(ESCP)combined with vancomycin on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)planktonic cells,biofilms,and virulence factors.Methods:The herbs in Sanchen powder(SCP)were extracted separately with 50％ethanol.Then,the content of hydroxysafflower yellow A(HSYA)and cholic acid in the extract of artificial cattle bezoar(artificial Calculus bovis)and safflower(Carthamus tinctorius L.)was measured by ultraviolet visible-vis spectrophotometry and high-performance liquid chromatography.The effects of ESCP combined with vancomycin on MRSA by observing its biofilm viability were assessed using a 2,3-bis-(2-methoxy-4-nitro-5-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium5-carboxanilide reduction assay and scanning electron microscopy.Additionally,enzyme activity was measured by plasma coagulase test and DNase test.Results:The cholic acid content of the artificial C.bovis extract was 7.34(0.81)mg/g,and the HSYA content of the C.tinctorius extract was 9.18(0.09)mg/g.The minimal inhibitory concentrations of ESCP and vancomycin were 25.6 mg/mL and 2 μg/mL.The minimum bactericidal concentration of ESCP was 51.2 mg/mL.ESCP combined with vancomycin could inhibit the expression of coagulase and bacteria in mature biofilms.Neither ESCP nor vancomycin had a significant effect on DNase.Conclusion:This study is the first to show that ESCP combined with vancomycin inhibits coagulase and MRSA embedded in mature biofilms and that it represents a promising treatment for MRSA infection.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of early diagnosis by contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) combined with mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy in the treatment of biliary ischemia after liver transplantation. Methods Clinical data of 9 recipients presenting with biliary ischemia detected by CEUS within 4 weeks after liver transplantation and diagnosed with non-anastomotic biliary stricture (NAS) within postoperative 1 year were retrospectively analyzed. In the conventional treatment group, 4 recipients were treated with conventional treatment including liver protection, cholagogic therapy and interventional therapy. In MSC treatment group, 5 recipients received intravenous infusion of MSC at 1, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 16 weeks after biliary ischemia detected by CEUS on the basis of conventional therapy. The interventional treatment and clinical prognosis within 1 year after liver transplantation were analyzed between two groups. Results Two recipients in the MSC treatment group required interventional therapy, which was initially given at 7-9 months after liver transplantation for 1-2 times. All recipients in the conventional treatment group required interventional therapy, which was initially delivered at postoperative 1-3 months for 2-6 times, earlier than that in the MSC treatment group. Within 1 year following liver transplantation, diffuse bile duct injury occurred in 2 recipients in MSC treatment group, and no graft dysfunction was observed. In the conventional treatment group, all recipients developed diffuse bile duct injury, and 2 recipients presented with graft dysfunction. Conclusions Early diagnosis of biliary ischemia after liver transplantation by CEUS combined with MSC therapy may delay and reduce the requirement of interventional therapy for NAS, and also improve clinical prognosis of the recipients.

Abstract Public physical education teaching has adopted modern concepts and approachs of physical training to highlight the importance and effectiveness of physical education in colleges and universities in China. These courses have placed an emphasis on the need to attend to the structural integrity of the human body, optimizing the basic action mode and the efficient transmission of the power chain in motion. From the perspective of curriculum education, it is helpful to update ideas surrounding the public physical education curriculum in colleges and universities to enrich the content of public physical education courses provided by these institutions and to improve the scientific nature of training, while also enhancing the physical fitness of college students and promoting lifelong sports consciousness. However, there is insufficient explanation and implementation of modern physical training concepts and approachs into the teaching and process of public sports in colleges and universities. It will be beneficial to improve its top level design, increase policy support, provide better facilities, strengthen the construction of teachers, actively organize enjoyable physical fitness competitions, enrich the teaching content system and clear on the positioning of college physical education, in order to promote the fundamental tasks of school based physical education and the value of school sports. This is also important to ensure a renewal of the concept of the public physical education curriculum in our country, and encourage reform of the curriculum content, teaching mode and teaching methods, while also highlighting the essential function of physical training.

Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the bile duct (IPMN-B) is a special type of tumor occurring in the biliary system, with no specific clinical manifestations and imaging findings, and thus it is difficult to diagnose before surgery. It is often considered when a large amount of mucus is found in the bile duct during surgery and then it is forced to change the surgical plan. Clinicians lack an understanding of this disease due to its low incidence rate. This article reviews the recent research advances in the etiology and classification, clinical features, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of IPMN-B, so as to improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment of IPMN-B among clinicians.

Objective: To discuss and compare the plasma pharmacokinetics after three oral Panax notoginseng saponin (PNS) administrations in beagle dogs. PNS is the main active ingredient of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Panax notoginseng. Although its outstanding therapeutic efficacy has been demonstrated by various researchers, its broader application is restricted by the low bioavailability of PNS.Methods: An ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method for the simultaneous quantification of notoginsenoside R1, ginsenoside Rg1, ginsenoside Rb1, ginsenoside Rd, and ginsenoside Re in beagle dog plasma was developed and validated. The plasma samples were subjected to liquid-liquid extraction with acetone and methanol, and separated on an ACQUITY C18 column (100 × 2.1 mm ID, 1.7μm) using acetonitrile and water as the mobile phase with a run time of 4.5 min. Results: The analytes were detected without interference in Selected Reaction Monitoring mode with positive electrospray ionization. The validated method was successfully used in comparative pharma-cokinetic studies of the five saponins in beagle dogs after oral administration of three PNS preparations. Blood samples were collected up to 192 h after administration and pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using DAS 3.20 and SPSS 17.0. The AUC0-t values of Re and R1 were significantly higher in soft capsules than in hard capsules. However, the AUC0-t values between hard and soft capsules were not significantly different for the other three components—Rb1, Rd and Rg1. Conclusion: Our intuitive analysis suggests that the bioavailability of PNS in soft capsules is greater than in hard capsules.

Objective: To understand the consciousness of the cancer early treatment and its demographic and socioeconomic factors. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 16 provinces covered by the Cancer Screening Program in Urban China (CanSPUC) from 2015 to 2017. A total of 32 257 local residents aged ≥18 years old who could understand the investigation procedure were included in the study by using the cluster sampling method and convenient sampling method. All local residents were categorized into four groups, which contained 15 524 community residents, 8 016 cancer risk assessment/screening population, 2 289 cancer patients and 6 428 occupational population, respectively. The questionnaire collected personal information, the consciousness of the cancer early treatment and relevant factors. The Chi square test was used to compare the difference between the consciousness of the cancer early treatment and relevant factors among the four groups. The logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors related to the consciousness of the cancer early treatment. Results: With the assumption of being diagnosed as precancer or cancer, 89.97% of community residents, 91.84% of cancer risk assessment/screening population, 93.00% of cancer patients and 91.52% of occupational population would accept active treatments (P<0.001). If the immediate family members were diagnosed as precancer or cancer, people who would encourage their family members to receive early treatment in the four groups accounted for 91.96%, 91.94%, 92.44% and 91.55%, respectively (P<0.001). The company employees, annual household income with 40 000 yuan and more and other three groups had a relatively better consciousness of the cancer early treatment (P<0.05). Male, widowed, unemployed and from the central and western regions had a relatively worse consciousness of the cancer early treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion Residents in urban China participants had a good consciousness of the cancer early treatment. The marital status, occupation, annual household income and residential regions were major factors related to the consciousness of the cancer early treatment.

Objective:The study intends to identify gap in HIV/AIDS awareness dissemination between the official channel delivery and the needs of adolescents.Methods:We crawled all the HIV/AIDS queries from “Baidu zhidao” till June 11st, 2018. “Baidu zhidao” inquiry and information form official public service announcement (abbreviated for “official delivery” hereafter) were the data source for comparative analysis. We categorized the text data into four kinds, “prevention”, “testing and treatment”, “symptoms and infection” and “legalization and policies” according to official categorization. Word segmentation was used for text mining and word frequency statistics, as well word cloud was used for word frequency visualization (all based on a comparison after removing the useless words).Results:Of the official delivery, the proportion of prevention category accounted for 32.3% ( n=162) (ranks 1 st), and the proportion of legalization and policies category was 14.1% ( n=71). While among the “Baidu zhidao” inquiry information, the proportion of testing and treatment category accounted for 51.7% ( n=51 264), and the proportion of prevention category accounted for 11.4% ( n=11 272). The frequencies of same terms/ repeated terms of two channels accounted for 60% (59.3%-63.9%) of each category among the official delivery, of which, the proportion of interest terms comparatively less and more diverse in “Baidu zhidao” inquiries. The proportion of the terms frequency of each category was about 45% in “prevention, testing and treatment”, 34.3% ( n=14 781) in “symptoms and infection” and 17.0% ( n=5 744) in “legalization and policies”, respectively. Conclusion:A big gap was identified between the available official source and inquiries’ term, especially word frequency discrepancy between “legalization and policies” and “prevention” categories. It underscore the necessity for the official channel to address the needs and interests of adolescents in the future.
