Objective:
To explore the influence of group psychological counseling on the mental health of children with mother s authoritarian parenting.
Methods:
From November 2022 to February 2023, 76 students from grades 4 to 6 whose mother showed authoritarian parenting style, while fathers adopted no authoritative, authoritarian or democratic parenting style and who scored ≥65 on the total MHT were selected using the Parenting Style Questionnaire (PBI) and the Mental Health Diagnostic Test (MHT). All the participants and their mothers were randomly assigned to the intervention and control groups. Before and after the intervention, participants filled out questionnaires on parental bonding instrument and mental health test. Control group: regular delivery of mental health education information, 2 times per week, for 8 weeks, without any other intervention. Intervention group: group counseling activities were conducted once a week. Each intervention lasted 1.5-2 hours and lasts for 8 weeks. Before and after the intervention, participants filled in the family parenting style and mental health screening questionnaires.
Results:
After the intervention, compared with the control group, students in the intervention group showed a significant decrease in the total scale score of the MHT, learning anxiety, social anxiety, allergic tendency, physical symptoms, fear tendency, and impulsive tendency ( t=-0.43, -1.04 , -0.81, P >0.05). After intervention, the intervention group students showed a significant decrease in psychological diagnosis test scores, learning anxiety, anxiety towards others, allergic tendencies, physical symptoms, phobic tendencies, and impulsive tendencies compared to the control group students ( t=-20.00, -5.06, -2.09, -3.36, -6.15, -4.76, -5.15, P <0.05).
Conclusion
Rregular group psychological counseling can effectively improve the academic anxiety, social anxiety, allergic tendencies, physical symptoms, fearful and impulsive tendencies of students whose mothers with authoritarian parenting style, and greatly improve their mental health.

Objective To investigate immunogenic and toxic effects of graphene oxide (GO) nanoparticles in mouse skeletal muscles and in human blood in vitro. Methods GO nanoparticles prepared using a probe sonicator were supended in deionized H2O or PBS, and particle size and surface charge of the nanoparticles were measured with dynamic light scattering (DLS). Different concentrations (0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 mg/mL) of GO suspension or PBS were injected at multiple sites in the gastrocnemius muscle (GN) of C57BL/6 mice, and inflammatory response and immune cell infiltrations were detected with HE and immunofluorescence staining. We also examined the effects of GO nanoparticles on human red blood cell (RBC) morphology, hemolysis and blood coagulation using scanning electron microscope (SEM), spectrophotometry, and thromboelastography (TEG). Results GO nanoparticles suspended in PBS exhibited better colloidal dispersity, stability and surface charge effects than those in deionized H2O. In mouse GNs, injection of GO suspensions dose- and time-dependently resulted in sustained muscular inflammation and myofiber degeneration at the injection sites, which lasted till 8 weeks after the injection; immunofluorescence staining revealed obvious infiltration of monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells and CD4+T cells around the injection sites in mouse GNs. In human RBCs, incubation with GO suspensions at 0.2, 2.0 and 20 mg/mL, but not at 0.002 or 0.02 mg/mL, caused significant alterations of cell morphology and hemolysis. TEG analysis showed significant abnormalities of blood coagulation parameters following treatment with high concentrations of GO. Conclusion GO nanoparticles can induce sustained inflammatory and immunological responses in mouse GNs and cause RBC hemolysis and blood coagulation impairment, suggesting its muscular toxicity and hematotoxicity at high concentrations.

Migraine is one of the most prevalent and disabling neurological disease, but the current pharmacotherapies show limited efficacy and often accompanied by adverse effects. Acupuncture is a promising complementary therapy, but further clinical evidence is needed. The influence of acupuncture on migraine is not an immediate effect, and its mechanism remains unclear. This study aims to provide further clinical evidence for the anti-migraine effects of acupuncture and explore the mechanism involved. A randomized controlled trial was performed among 10 normal controls and 38 migraineurs. The migraineurs were divided into blank control, sham acupuncture, and acupuncture groups. Patients were subjected to two courses of treatment, and each treatment lasted for 5 days, with an interval of 1 day between the two courses. The effectiveness of treatment was evaluated using pain questionnaire. The functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data were analyzed for investigating brain changes induced by treatments. Blood plasma was collected for metabolomics and proteomics studies. Correlation and mediation analyses were performed to investigate the interaction between clinical, fMRI and omics changes. Results showed that acupuncture effectively relieved migraine symptoms in a way different from sham acupuncture in terms of curative effect, affected brain regions, and signaling pathways. The anti-migraine mechanism involves a complex network related to the regulation of the response to hypoxic stress, reversal of brain energy imbalance, and regulation of inflammation. The brain regions of migraineurs affected by acupuncture include the lingual gyrus, default mode network, and cerebellum. The effect of acupuncture on patients' metabolites/proteins may precede that of the brain.

Objective:To investigate the factors for serious complications within 30 days after surgery in elderly patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer(EOC)who undertook primary debulking surgery(PDS).Methods:The clinical data of International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics(FIGO)stage ⅢC/Ⅳ EOC patients aged≥60 years who received PDS in gynecological department of National Cancer Center and National Center of Gerontology between January 2014 and December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.Clavien-Dindo scoring system was applied to grade the complications within 30 days after surgery. The serious early postoperative complications were those of grade Ⅲ or above occurred within 30 days after surgery.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to screen the independent risk factors of serious complications within 30 days after surgery. Results:A total of 133 patients were included in this study and serious complications rated 11.3%(15/133). The mean age of patients in severe complication group was significantly higher than that in the control group[(69.80±6.56) vs.(65.87±5.14), t=2.699, P=0.008]. The proportion of patients with preoperative ECOG score≥2 was significantly higher in the severe complication group than that in the control group[26.7%(4/15) vs.5.9%(7/118), χ2=4.985, P=0.026], and the proportion of preoperative hypoalbuminemia(<35 g/L)was significantly higher in the severe complication group[20.0%(3/15) vs.3.4%(4/118), χ2=4.897, P=0.027]. However, there was no significant difference in intraoperative bleeding, R0 resection rate as well as surgical complexity( χ2=1.964, 0.330, 4.637, all P>0.05)between the two groups.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the independent factors for serious early postoperative complications were age≥70 years( OR=4.345, P=0.028), ECOG score≥2( OR=25.619, P=0.008)and preoperative albumin <35 g/L( OR=6.733, P=0.040). Conclusions:In the elderly ovarian cancer patients, individualized perioperative management should be strengthened for the patients with factors associated with serious early postoperative complications, in order to reduce severe complications and improve the prognosis.
