		                        			Objective:
To investigate the impact of preschool children s aquatic motor skill (AMS) acquisition on their fundamental motor skill (FMS) development and the correlation between AMS and FMS development, so ao to provide a scientific basis for early childhood education and physical education teaching.

		                        			Methods:
From April to June 2024, 60 children, recruited by random sampling from a kindergarten in Taiyuan, were stratified randomly divided into an experimental group ( n =30) and a control group ( n =30). The experimental group were further divided into five classes of six each. They received AMS practice interventions twice weekly, 40 minutes per session, over eight weeks (16 sessions total) at a designated swimming center. The control group maintained their usual routine. Children s FMS and AMS were assessed pre and post intervention using the Test of Gross Motor Development-3rd (TGMD3) and Actual Aquatic Skills Test (AAST), respectively. Before and after test comparisons within and between groups employed t-tests, Wilcoxon signedrank tests, ANCOVA (including ranktransformed ANCOVA), and Cohen s d effect sizes were calculated for standardized mean differences. Spearman rank correlation was used to analyze relationships between FMS and AMS.

		                        			Results:
After the aquatic learning, the experimental group scored significantly higher than the control group on locomotor skills ( F=20.47, P <0.01, η 2=0.26), FMS ( F=4.59, P =0.04, η 2=0.08), and AMS ( F=109.71, P<0.01, η 2=0.79). The experimental groups improvement in locomotor skills 5.0(3.8, 7.3) versus the control group (2.8±2.5) yielded a medium effect size (Cohen s d =0.71); AMS gains in the experimental group [26.0(20.8, 28.0)] versus controls [1.0(0, 2.3)] showed a very large effect size (Cohen s d =4.73) (both P <0.01). Among preschool children, AMS acquisition was positively correlated with locomotor skills ( r =0.39) and overall FMS ( r =0.43)(both P <0.05). Skill specific assessments revealed lower proficiency in headfirst entry (immersion), treading water, and sagittalplane rotation.

		                        			Conclusion
Preschool children s acquisition of AMS has a positive effect on their FMS, with mutual facilitation between the two, especially in locomotor abilities.

BACKGROUND:Inflammation and oxidative stress contribute to the barriers of regeneration in chronic wound.Oxymatrine has various biological activities, such as anti-oxidation,anti-inflammation and so on,which may have the potential effect of promoting wound healing. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of oxymatrine on wound healing and the protective effect on H2O2-induced oxidative stress injury in human keratinoid cell line HaCaT cells. METHODS:(1)In vivo experiment:Hyaluronic acid methacryloyl hydrogels containing 0,0.05,0.1,0.2 g/L oxymatrine were prepared.A full-layer skin defect model with a diameter of 12 mm was made in the back of 75 diabetic mice and randomly divided into five groups for intervention, with 15 mice in each group. The wounds of the model group were bandaged and fixed. The wounds of the hydrogel group were covered with hyaluronic acid methacryloyl hydrogel. The wounds of the low-dose,moderate-dose and high-dose oxymatrine groups were covered with hyaluronic acid methacryloyl hydrogel containing 0.05,0.1,and 0.2 g/L oxymatrine, respectively, and then bandaged and fixed after light curing.Relevant indicators were detected within 14 days.(2)In vitro experiment:Human keratinocyte line HaCaT was divided into five groups. The normal group was cultured conventionally.H2O2 group and low-,moderate-and high-concentration oxymatrine groups were treated with H2O2 for 4 hours, and then the medium was replaced with medium containing 0,0.05,0.1,and 0.2 g/L oxymatrine, respectively, and the relevant indexes were detected after 24 hours of culture. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)In vivo experiment:Compared with the model group, the wound healing rate of mice in the hydrogel group had no significant change. The wound healing rate of mice in the low-,moderate-and high-dose oxymatrine group was increased at 7 and 14 days after treatment(P<0.05).Pathological observation of wound section 14 days after treatment showed that compared with the model group, the thickness of regenerated epidermal layer, the number of microvessels, and collagen deposition in the moderate-and high-dose oxymatrine groups were increased(P<0.05).Western blot assay analysis of wound samples 7 days after surgery showed that compared with the model group, the protein expressions of tumor necrosis factor α and interleukin 6 in the moderate-and high-dose oxymatrine groups were decreased(P<0.05).(2)In vitro experiment:CCK8 assay,EdU and Ki67 staining showed that compared with the H2O2 group, the cell proliferation ability of the moderate-and high-concentration oxymatrine groups was significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the H2O2 group, mitochondrial membrane potential was increased(P<0.05)and reactive oxygen species content was decreased(P<0.05)in the moderate-and high-concentration oxymatrine groups.Western blot assay results showed that compared with the H2O2 group, the expression levels of Nrf2 nuclear protein,Nrf2 total protein,HO-1 protein, and superoxide dismutase 1 protein were increased in the high-concentration oxymatrine group(P<0.05).(3)These findings confirm that oxymatrine can alleviate oxidative stress damage in HaCat cells and accelerate wound healing by upregulating the levels of Nrf2 and HO-1 protein.

Objective:To construct and validate a nomogram model for predicting sepsis-associated acute kidney injury (SA-AKI) risk in intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Methods:A retrospective cohort study was conducted. Adult sepsis patients admitted to the department of ICU of the 940th Hospital of Joint Logistic Support Force of PLA from January 2017 to December 2022 were enrolled. Demographic characteristics, clinical data within 24 hours after admission to ICU diagnosis, and clinical outcomes were collected. Patients were divided into training set and validation set according to a 7∶3 ratio. According to the consensus report of the 28th Acute Disease Quality Initiative Working Group (ADQI 28), the data were analyzed with serum creatinine as the parameter and AKI occurrence 7 days after sepsis diagnosis as the outcome. Lasso regression analysis and univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were performed to construct the nomogram prediction model for SA-AKI. The discrimination and accuracy of the model were evaluated by the Hosmer-Lemeshow test, receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC curve), decision curve analysis (DCA), and clinical impact curve (CIC).Results:A total of 247 sepsis patients were enrolled, 184 patients developed SA-AKI (74.49%). The number of AKI patients in the training and validation sets were 130 (75.58%) and 54 (72.00%), respectively. After Lasso regression analysis and univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis, four independent predictive factors related to the occurrence of SA-AKI were selected, namely procalcitonin (PCT), prothrombin activity (PTA), platelet distribution width (PDW), and uric acid (UA) were significantly associated with the onset of SA-AKI, the odds ratio ( OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) was 1.03 (1.01-1.05), 0.97 (0.55-0.99), 2.68 (1.21-5.96), 1.01 (1.00-1.01), all P < 0.05, respectively. A nomogram model was constructed using the above four variables. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) was 0.869 (95% CI was 0.870-0.930) in the training set and 0.710 (95% CI was 0.588-0.832) in the validation set. The P-values of the Hosmer-Lemeshow test were 0.384 and 0.294, respectively. In the training set, with an optimal cut-off value of 0.760, a sensitivity of 77.5% and specificity of 88.1% were achieved. Both DCA and CIC plots demonstrated the model's good clinical utility. Conclusion:A nomogram model based on clinical indicators of sepsis patients admitted to the ICU within 24 hours could be used to predict the risk of SA-AKI, which would be beneficial for early identification and treatment on SA-AKI.

Sepsis is defined as life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection. Sepsis-associated acute kidney injury (SA-AKI) is a common organ dysfunction of sepsis, and its incidence and mortality are increasing, which brings heavy economic burden to patients and society. Early diagnosis and effective intervention can block the occurrence and progression of SA-AKI effectively, improve prognosis, and reduce medical costs. Diagnosis on SA-AKI relies on urine volume and serum creatinine, which has the disadvantages of being easily disturbed and delaying. The identification of biomarkers in blood and urine can facilitate diagnosis and provide targeted therapy to enhance the management of SA-AKI. This article reviews the characteristics of a variety of SA-AKI biomarkers that have been found and validated, including pre-damage biomarkers, damage biomarkers and functional biomarkers, and explore the clinical value of newly discovered biomarkers related to the diagnosis and treatment of SA-AKI, such as blood uncoupling protein 2 (UCP2), Sestrin 2 protein and pannexin 1 (PANX1), to provide reference for the early diagnosis and effective treatment of SA-AKI.
