Objective To analyse the characteristics of spatial distribution of bed resources and bed utilization efficiency of various types of medical and health institutions in Guangxi Province in 2018-2022,and to provide a reference basis for the allocation and management of bed resources of various types of medical and health institutions. Methods Spatial autocorrelation was used to analyse the status of bed allocation in various types of medical and health institutions, and the bed efficiency index and bed utilisation model were used to evaluate the efficiency of bed utilisation. Results Bed resources per 1 000 population vary considerably across types of healthcare organisations and regions. There is no spatial correlation in the overall distribution of bed resources per 1 000 population, but there are different types of aggregation, and there will be little change in the type of aggregation and the place of aggregation from 2018 to 2022.In terms of utilisation efficiency, the bed efficiency index of maternity and child healthcare hospitals is the highest, the bed efficiency index of specialist disease prevention and treatment hospitals(institutes and stations)is the lowest, general hospitals and maternity and child healthcare hospitals are operating at high efficiency, and all other healthcare institutions are operating at low efficiency;the utilisation of bed resources in various types of healthcare institutions exists in the form of efficiency-type,turn-around-type,bed-pressure-type,and unused-type hospitals at the same time. Conclusion There is an imbalance in the allocation of bed resources in various types of medical and health institutions, with large differences in the operational and utilisation efficiencies of beds;the allocation of bed resources should be continuously optimised.

Objective To explore the value of magnetic resonance relaxation time quantitative imaging in predicting molecular subtypes of invasive ductal carcinoma(IDC)of breast. Methods A total of 79 IDC patients underwent routine magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)scanning and relaxation time quantitative imaging.According to immunohistochemical results of lesions, patients were divided into different immunohistochemical index groups and molecular subtype groups. The differences in MRI signs,T1 values and T2 values of lesions were statistically compared between each group.Patient operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to evaluate values of T1 and T2 alone and the combination of them in differential diagnosis of IDC molecular subtypes. Results There were 82 samples of lesion in 79 patients,in which,Luminal A type 16(19.51%),Luminal B1 type 11(13.41%),Luminal B2 type 27(32.93%),tyrosine kinase receptor-2 overexpression type(Erb-B2)14(17.07%)and TNBC 14(17.07%).There were no significant differences in patient age, lesion distribution, maximum diameter, morphology, margin and enhancement performance between patients with various molecular subtypes(P>0.05).Among the immunohistochemical indexes, only the Ki-67 positive group had higher T1 value than the negative group(P<0.05).In ROC analysis, the critical T1 value of Ki-67 positive lesions was 2 145 ms,Yoden index was 0.368,the sensitivity was 53.47%,the specificity was 83.33%and the area under the curve(AUC)was 0.640(95%CI:0.527-0.744).There were no significant differences in T1 and T2 values between Luminal A,Luminal B1,Luminal B2,Erb-B2 enriched and TNBC subtypes(P<0.05).T1 and T2 values were lower in Luminal type lesion than those of TNBC type lesion(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the combined T1 and T2 values were more effective in differentiating Luminal/TNBC type than those of T1 and T2 values alone. Conclusion T1 mapping can be used as one of the methods to predict the high or low expression levels of Ki-67 in IDC tumors. The combination of T1 and T2 values can improve the ability to predict Luminal/TNBC subtypes.

Objective To investigate the effects of galectin-3(Gal3)on skin abscess development and activation of mast cells(MC)in mice infected with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA).Methods Wild type mice and Gal3-knockout(Gal3-/-)mice,at 6~8 weeks of age, were divided into four groups:Wild type mice+PBS group,Wild type mice+MRSA group,Gal3-/-mice+PBS group,Gal3-/-mice+MRSA group, were subcutaneously injected with MRSA or the same volume of phosphate buffer saline, with five mice per group. The development and pathological changes of skin abscess were monitored and recorded. The bacterial load in skin tissues was compared, and the expression of associated cytokines, degranulation of MC,and the distribution of MC activation marker 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)were detected. Results The skin of Wild type mice showed progressive abscesses after subcutaneous infection with MRSA,but the Gal3-/-mice showed smaller abscess areas.Compared to the Wild type mice+MRSA group, the Gal3-/-mice+MRSA group showed lower bacterial loading in the skin tissues(P<0.01)and fewer infiltrating inflammatory cells with histopathological observation. The expression of cytokines, including IL-1β,TNF-α,IL-33,TGF-β,and IL-10,were significantly lower in Gal3-/-mice than Wild type mice(P<0.05).The toluidine blue staining showed a large number of degranulated MCs in the skin tissues of the wild type mice+MRSA group, whereas only a few degranulated MCs were observed in the Gal3-/-mice+MRSA group. It was further found that the expression of 5-HT in Gal3-/-mice+MRSA group was significantly lower than that in wild-type mice+MRSA group with immunohistochemical staining. Conclusion Gal3 deficiency reduced the activation and degranulation of mouse skin MC after MRSA infection, resulting in changes to inflammatory responses and alleviating the severity of skin tissue abscesses.
