Intestinal microbiota plays an important role in maintaining liver metabolic homeostasis and affects the development and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma by participating in bile acid metabolism. Gut-liver axis plays an important role in the pathogenesis of liver diseases, and it might be one of the effective methods to prevent the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma by correcting intestinal ecological imbalance to restore normal bile acid level. This article summarizes the mechanism of bile acid receptor affecting hepatocellular carcinoma and the latest therapeutic targets, in order to provide a reference for the early prevention and treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.

The adjacent anatomy of the pelvis is complicated, with digestive, urinary, reproductive and other organs as well as important blood vessels and nerves. Therefore, accurate resection of pelvic tumors and precise reconstruction of defects after resection are extremely difficult. The development of medical 3D printing technology provides new ideas for precise resection and personalized reconstruction of pelvic tumors. The “triune” application of 3D printing personalized lesion model, osteotomy guide plate and reconstruction prosthesis in pelvic tumor limb salvage reconstruction treatment has achieved good clinical results. However, the current lack of normative guidance standards such as preparation and application of 3D printing personalized lesion model, osteotomy guide plate and reconstruction prosthesis restricts its promotion and application. The formulation of this consensus provides normative guidance for 3D printing personalized pelvic tumor limb salvage reconstruction treatment.

Objective:To investigate the clinicopathological features, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and immunohistochemical (IHC) characteristics of paraganglioma of urinary bladder (PUB).Methods:The clinical and pathological data of 23 cases of PUB were collected at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University (7 cases); Fujian Provincial Hospital (8 cases); Fujian Medical University Union Hospital (6 cases); and First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University (2 cases) from May 2010 to November 2018. IHC staining for CK, GATA3, CD56, Syn, CgA, S-100 protein, HMB45, SDHB, OCT3/4 and Ki-67 was done using EliVision method; and the relevant literature was reviewed. Results:There were 14 women and 9 men, aged ranged from 21 to 73 years (median 51 years). Clinically, patients presented with headache, vertigo, palpitation, hypertensive crisis during micturition, hypertension, blurred vision, gross hematuria and paroxysmal pallor. The tumor sizes ranged from 0.9 to 6 cm (mean2.5 cm). Macroscopically, most tumors were exophytic and well delineated within the lamina propria or muscularis propria. The tumors were firm and nodular and showed grayish-tan cut surface. Histologically, the tumor growth pattern was expansive or showed interpenetrating infiltrative growth within the lamina propria or muscularis propria; the tumor cells were typically arranged in distinctive nests (Zellballen) with organoid arrangement; pseudo-rosette were seen in some cases. The cells were rounded or polygonal and had rich, acidophilic or amphophilic cytoplasm and may contain pigmented granules and vacuoles; the nuclei were central or eccentric, with small nucleoli, although occasionally some nuclei were pleomorphic and hyperchromatic. Spindled sustentacular cells could be seen around the nests of tumor cells in some cases. There were abundant vessels that were fissure-like, hemangioma-like or dilated. By IHC, the tumor cells were positive for GATA3 (2/23), OCT3/4 (2/23), CD56 (22/23), Syn (23/23), CgA (22/23), S-100 (sustentacular cell, 23/23) and SDHB (23/23); and negative for CK and HMB45; Ki-67 index was 1%-5%. At follow-up, there was no recurrence or metastasis in 18 cases. Conclusions:The diagnosis of PUB relies on the morphologic and IHC features; but there may be histomorphologic heterogeneity. The most important differential diagnosis is invasive urothelial carcinoma. The tumor cells may show aberrant cytoplasmic expression of OCT3/4; there is no clear correlation between SDHB and OCT3/4 expression in the group.

Apoptosis has been considered as the only form of regulated cell death for a long time. However, a novel form of programmed cell death called necroptosis was recently reported. The process of necroptosis is regulated and plays a critical role in the occurrence and development of multiple human diseases. Thus, the study on the molecular mechanism of necroptosis and its effective inhibitors has been an attractive field for researchers. Herein, we introduce the molecular mechanism of necroptosis and focus on the literature about necroptosis drug screening in recent years. In addition, the identification of the critical drug targets of the necroptosis is also discussed.

Objective To study the effect of using different tibial nerve proximal muscle branchs to repair deep peroneal nerve injury in animal experiment, and to screen out the most optimal donor nerve branch. Methods From June, 2016 to August, 2016, 64 adult female SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, which were LHG (using lateral head of gastrocnemius to repair peroneal nerve), MHG(using medial head of gastrocnemius to repair peroneal nerve), SNB (using soleus nerve branch to repair peroneal nerve), and blank. There were16 rats in each group. At 4 and 8 weeks after surgery, each group were tested on behavior, electrophysiology, muscle tension, muscle wet weight and histology, to evaluate function recovery of the muscles controlled by deep peroneal nerve in each group, and to compare recovery of the deep peroneal nerve repaired by different tibial nerve branches. Results Eight weeks after surgery, right foot of the rats in LHG,MHG and SNB group can be extended, toes can be completely opened. Rats in blank group showed limping gait, whose right foot can not be extended, right toe can not be opened, and muscle atrophied. At 4 and 8 weeks after the operation, the recovery rate of LHG, MHG, SNB group (at 4th weeks, 33.60 ±2.22)%, 33.07 ±2.38% and 35.91 ±2.02%; at 8th weeks, 67.16 ±5.74)%, 66.56 ±3.18% and 73.17 ± 5.33%, respectively)was higher than blank group(7.71±1.05% and 7.84±0.78%, respectively)on CMAP amplitude, tibialis anterior muscle contractility, tibialis anterior muscle cell area, muscle cell area. SNB group was superior to the LHG group and LHG group. And the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion All the proxi-mal tibial nerve muscle branchs can be used to repair the deep peroneal nerve injury, and the soleus nerve branch is the preferred donor nerve.

Objective To determine the relationship between brain injury and cerebral glucose metabolism in rat model of cardiac arrest. Methods Asphyxia-induced cardiac arrest model was established. Forty-two male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to sham or experimental groups. Rats in the CA4,CA6 and CA8 group were treated with cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) 4 min, 6 min and 8 min after cardiac arrest, respectively. The maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) of glucose was detected by PET, and neural defi cit score (NDS) were evaluated at 24 h and 72 h after ROSC. The numbers of injured neurons and apoptotic cells and the protein level of hexokinase I (HXK I) were measured at 72 h after ROSC. Results SUVmax, NDS and the level of HXK I were all decreased after ROSC, and interestingly, this declination of these markers was correlated with the prolongation of the duration of CA, the longer duration of CA the more declination of these biomarkers. Accordingly, the number of injured neurons and apoptotic cells increased were correlated with duration of CA, and thus CA8 group had greater numbers of those cells than CA6 group and CA4 group (P<0.05),and CA6 group had greater numbers of those cells than CA4 group(P<0.05). In addition, the SUVmaxwas positively correlated with NDS(P<0.05), and negatively correlated with the numbers of injured neurons and apoptotic index(P<0.05). Conclusions The degree of brain injury is associated with cerebral glucose metabolism, and PET may become a novel method to assess the severity of brain damage after CA.
