1.Prevalence of menopausal syndrome among postmenopausal women in Pan'an County

		                        			Objective:
		                        			To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of menopausal syndrome among postmenopausal women in Pan'an County, Zhejiang Province, so as to provide the basis for guiding the health management of postmenopausal women.
		                        		
		                        			Methods:
		                        			From May 2023 to April 2024, the postmenopausal women aged 40 to 69 years in Pan'an County were selected using the random cluster sampling method. Demographic information, lifestyle and prevalence of gynecological diseases were collected through questionnaire surveys. The prevalence of menopausal syndrome was assessed by modified Kupperman Score Scale. Factors affecting menopausal syndrome were analyzed by a multivariable logistic regression model.
		                        		
		                        			Results:
		                        			A total of 816 postmenopausal women were surveyed, with an mean age of (57.63±2.92) years and a mean natural menopause age of (49.85±2.13) years. There were 574 cases with menopausal syndrome, with a prevalence of 70.34%. Flashes and sweating, insomnia and irritability were common symptoms, accounting for 62.87%, 47.43% and 41.18%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that monthly personal income of ≤5 000 yuan (<3 000 yuan, OR=3.124, 95%CI: 1.829-5.335; 3 000-5 000 yuan, OR=2.399, 95%CI: 1.370-4.201) and having gynecological diseases (OR=1.970, 95%CI: 1.292-3.004) were associated with a higher risk of menopausal syndrome, while average (OR=0.141, 95%CI: 0.072-0.276) or sufficient sleep quality (OR=0.095, 95%CI: 0.049-0.185) were associated with a lower risk of menopausal syndrome.
		                        		
		                        			Conclusion
		                        			The prevalence of menopausal syndrome among postmenopausal women in Pan'an County is relatively high, and is mainly influenced by personal economic status, sleep quality and the presence of gynecological diseases.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.Role of echocardiography in assessing copy number variation in fetal congenital heart disease

		                        			Objective:This study examines the application of echocardiography in the prenatal diagnosis of copy number variation (CNV) associated with fetal congenital heart disease (CHD).Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 447 singleton pregnancies from Quanzhou Maternal and Child Care Hospital (Quanzhou Children's Hospital) from January 2019 to August 2022. These individuals underwent echocardiographic assessments suggestive of fetal CHD and subsequently received invasive prenatal diagnoses. Comprehensive karyotype analysis and chromosome microarray analysis (CMA) were performed for each case. The discrepancies in the chromosomal abnormality detection were analyzed between the results produced by CMA and karyotype analysis. Furthermore, differences in the detection of pathogenic copy number variation (pCNV) between the two methods in CHD cases with diverse cardiac phenotypes, including the presence or absence of extracardiac structural malformations, the type, and quantity of cardiac structural anomalies, were explored. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Chi-square test. Results:Compared with conventional karyotype analysis, CMA demonstrated a higher detection rate of fetal chromosomal abnormalities [10.5% (47/447) vs. 20.6% (92/447), χ 2=161.56, P<0.001]. In terms of distinct cardiac phenotypes, CHD cases with extracardiac structural anomalies displayed an escalated pCNV detection rate in comparison to isolated CHD cases [11.4% (45/394) vs. 32.1% (17/53), χ 2=16.68, P<0.001]. Within the cardiac structural anomaly subgroups, increased pCNV detection rates were observed in the septal defect subgroup, conotruncal malformation subgroup, and left ventricular malformation subgroup [18.4%(29/158), 25.9%(7/27), and 25.0%(7/28) vs. 7.6%(16/210); χ 2=9.15, 9.68, and 8.55, respectively, all P<0.05]. The CMA-identified pCNV correlated with CHD included 22q11.2 deletions/duplications in eight cases, 4p16.3 deletions in two cases, 11q23.3 microduplications in two cases, 1q21.1 microdeletions/microduplications in two cases, 4q28.3 microduplications in one case, and 10p15.3 microdeletions in one case. Conclusions:CMA technology exhibited an enhanced ability to detect pCNV in fetuses with CHD. 3.Expression of programmed cell death ligand 1 and clinicopathological and immunological characteristics in fumarate hydratase-deficient renal cell carcinoma

		                        			Objective:To investigate the expression of programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1), clinicopathologic features, immunohistochemical expression and molecular characteristics in fumarate hydratase (FH)-deficient renal cell carcinoma and to explore the potential application of immunotherapy in the patients.Methods:There were six patients with FH-deficient renal cell carcinoma treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University between January 2020 and October 2022. The clinical data, histological morphology, immunophenotype, PD-L1 expression and next-generation sequencing results were tabulated and analyzed.Results:There were 6 patients, all male, age ranged from 37 to 72 years (mean 45.7 years). Four cases were high-grade (WHO/ISUP grade3-4) with 2 or more histologic patterns, including papillary (most common), glandular, tubular, vesicular, ethmoid, nest-like, cystic and solid structures. Two cases were low-grade which showed nest-like, glandular, or tubular arrangement with eosinophilic flocculent cytoplasm and small intracellular vacuoles. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed strong expression of 2SC in all 6 cases, negative expression of FH in 5 cases, and positive expression of GATA3 in 5 cases. In high-grade cases, the mean values of CD4 and CD8 positive T-lymphocytes in advanced tumor invasion were 180.3/mm 2 and 130.5/mm 2, respectively. PD-L1 combined positive scores (CPS) were 20, 50, 5 and 30, respectively. The Ki-67 proliferative index were 20%, 20%, 10% and 30%, respectively. In low-grade cases, the mean values of CD4 and CD8 positive T-lymphocytes were 123.0/mm 2 and 100.5/mm 2, respectively. The PD-L1 CPS score was 1, and the Ki-67 proliferation index was 3%. High-throughput sequencing showed FH gene somatic mutation in 3 cases, FH gene germline mutation in 2 cases, and FH gene mutation was not detected in one case. Conclusion:FH-deficient renal cell carcinoma is more commonly high-grade than low grade. FH and 2SC are immunohistochemical markers used in the diagnosis of FH-deficient renal cell carcinoma, and GATA3 positivity is supportive of the diagnosis. The tumor infiltration of high-grade FH-deficient renal cell carcinoma shows an increase in CD4 and CD8 positive T-lymphocytes, and high expression of PD-L1; thus, anti-PD-L1 immunotherapy can be used as a treatment option.

		                        			 Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT)is a treatment for many malignant tumors of blood system and severe immunodeficiency, and chronic graft-versus-host disease(cGVHD)is one of the major complications after transplantation, which seriously affects the life quality of patients. The cGVHD can attack all the target tissues of the eye. The more common ones are lacrimal gland, eyelid, conjunctiva, cornea and limbus, meibomian gland, etc. The pathophysiological process is inflammation and fibrosis. Although many researchers at home and abroad have gradually begun to explore the disease and obtained many new findings, its pathology and pathogenesis are still not fully understood, and there is no unified and effective treatment. Clinically, the treatment of the disease is usually when symptoms have appeared. At this time, the target tissue is likely to have irreversible and permanent damage, resulting in a protracted and refractory situation.
