Objective To investigate the effects of DNA demethylation drugs combined with histone deacetylase in-hibitors on fragile X mental retardation 1 neighbor protein (FMR1NB) expression and its promoter methylation in human oral cancer cells and try to find a strategy of weakening the heterogeneity of FMR1NB expression. Methods Human oral cancer cell lines Cal27 and SCC-9 were treated with decitabine (DAC) , an inhibitor of DNA meth-yltransferase, combined with trichostatin A (TSA) and valproic acid (VPA), inhibitors of histone deacetylase. Then reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) , quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) and Western blot were used to detect the expression of FMR1 NB and pyrosequencing was used to detect the methylation of FMR1NB promoter. Results Compared with the blank control group, DAC and its combination with TSA and VPA significantly induced the expression of FMR1NB mRNA and protein in Cal27 and SCC-9 cells.Compared with DAC alone group, FMR1NB mRNA expression of each DAC-combined drug groups significantly increased, but FMR1NB protein did not significantly change in Cal27 cells; for SCC-9 cells, except for DAC+TSA group, the mRNA and protein levels of FMR1NB significantly increased in all other groups. In addition, there was no signifi-cant difference in the expression of FMR1 NB mRNA and protein between the three-combined drugs group and two-combined drugs groups.Further methylation assay showed that the methylation level of the overall FMR1NB promot-er and its each CpG site measured were reduced to varying degrees in all treatment groups except for three-combina-tion drug group of SCC-9.Conclusion DAC and its combination with TSA and VPA can enhance the expression of FMR1NB by mediating the demethylation of FMR1NB promoter, wherein the enhanced expression effect of the com-bination of the two drugs is stronger, suggesting that they have the potential to weaken the heterogeneity of FMR1NB expression and improve the immunotherapy effect of oral cancer.

Objective: To investigate the association between muscle mass and quality of life in adults in Shaanxi adults. Methods: The data in this analysis were part of the baseline survey of the Regional Ethnic Cohort Study in Northwest China from June 2018 to May 2019 in Shaanxi Province. The participants' quality of life, including physical component summary (PCS) and mental component summary (MCS), was assessed by the 12-Item Short Form Survey, and the Body Fat Determination System measured muscle mass. A logistic regression model with adjustment for confounding factors was established to analyze the association between muscle mass and quality of life in different genders. Further, sensitivity and subgroup analyses were conducted to explore its stability. Finally, a restricted cubic spline was employed to investigate the dose-response relationship between muscle mass and quality of life in different genders. Results: A total of 20 595 participants were included, with an average age of 55.0, and 33.4% were male. After controlling for potential confounders, compared with the Q1 group, the risk of low PCS was reduced by 20.6% (OR=0.794, 95%CI: 0.681-0.925) and the risk of low MCS was lower reduced by 20.1% (OR=0.799, 95%CI: 0.689-0.926) in female Q5 groups. Compared with the Q1 group, the risk of low PCS was reduced by 24.4% (OR=0.756, 95%CI: 0.644-0.888) in the male Q2 group. However, no significant association between muscle mass and MCS in males has been found. In females, restricted cubic spline analysis showed a significant linear dose-response relationship between muscle mass and PCS and MCS. Conclusions: There is a positive association between muscle mass and quality of life in Shaanxi adults, especially females. With the increase in muscle mass, the physical and mental functions of the population continue to improve.

		                        			Objective:
To study the expression of long non-coding RNA LINC01152 in glioma and its influence on the malignant biological behavior of glioma cells.

		                        			Methods:
LINC01152 expression in glioma was analyzed by LncSpA V2.0 and GEPIA database.qRT-PCR was applied to detect the expression of LINC01152 mRNA in 10 samples of human normal brain tissues,40 samples of glioma tissues and 5 glioma cell lines.GO and KEGG enrichment analysis of LINC01152 co-expressed genes were performed using the DAVID database to predict the related functions. The AnoLnc2,TargetScan,LinkedOmics and miRDB databases were used to predict the LINC01152 related miRNAs and target genes to construct a ceRNA regulatory network.LINC01152 expression was knocked down in glioma cell lines by small interfering RNA (siRNA) transfection. The CCK-8 test, scratch healing experiments,Transwell, flow cytometry and Western blot experiments were used to measure the influence of LINC01152 on the proliferation,migra- tion, invasion and apoptosis of glioma cells.

		                        			Results :
Database analysis showed that compared with other tumor types,LINC01152 was highly expressed in glioblastoma (GBM) and low grade glioma (LGG) ,and was higher than normal brain tissue.qRT-PCR showed that the expression of LINC01152 mRNA in glioma tissues was significantly higher than that in normal brain tissues (P<0. 01).The expression of LINC01152 was correlated with Ki-67 (P < 0. 05) ,but not with clinical parameters such as gender, age, tumor size,P53 protein, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) ,O-6-methylguanine-DNAmethyltransferase ( MGMT) and WHO grade of glioma patients. Functional enrichment analysis of co-expressed genes indicated that the LINC01152 was mainly involved in biological processes such as cell adhesion and synaptic signaling.LINC01152-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network was constructed according to predicted target genes. After down-regulation of LINC01152 expression, the proliferation, migration and invasion abilities of A172 and U87 cells decreased(P<0. 01) ,while the apoptosis of glioma cells significantly increased (P<0. 001) .

		                        			Conclusion
LINC01152 is highly expressed in glioma, which can promote the malignant biological behavior of glioma cells by enhancing proliferation, migration as well as invasion and inhibition of apoptosis.

Isotemporal substitution model is a powerful tool to explore the real association between physical behavior and health outcomes, which has the potential of the application in large-scale cohort study. This paper systematically introduces the principle of isotemporal substitution model and its implementation method in specific analysis to provide analytical ideas for the epidemiological research related to physical behavior in China. The baseline data of Regional Ethic Cohort Study in Northwest China conducted in Shaanxi province were used to analyze the relationship between physical behavior and cardiovascular disease with single-factor model, partition model and isotemporal substitution model. The advantages and disadvantages of different models were compared, and the advantages of isotemporal substitution model in quantifying physical activity health risk were introduced. Isotemporal substitution model could qualify physical behavior and health outcomes, which has wide application value in epidemiological research.

Objective: To investigate the characteristics and comprehensive treatment of infected wounds in patients with iatrogenic Cushing's syndrome. Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted. From May 2012 to December 2021, the data of 19 patients with iatrogenic Cushing's syndrome discharged from the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were collected, including 8 males and 11 females, aged 28-71 (56±11) years, with 12 cases of infected acute wounds and 7 cases of infected chronic wounds. The lesions were located in the limbs, perianal, and sacrococcygeal regions, with original infection ranging from 9 cm×5 cm to 85 cm×45 cm. After admission, the patients were performed with multidisciplinary assisted diagnosis and treatment, and the wounds were treated with debridement and vacuum sealing drainage, according to the size, severity of infection, suture tension, and bone and tendon tissue exposure of wounds, direct suture or autologous skin and/or artificial dermis and/or autologous tissue flap transplantation was selected for wound repair. The levels of cortisol and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) of patients at 8:00, 16:00, and 24:00 within 24 h after admission were counted. After admission, the number of operations, wound repair methods, and wound and skin/flap donor site healing of patients were recorded. During follow-up, the wounds were observed for recurrent infection. Results: The cortisol levels of 16 patients at 8:00, 16:00, and 24:00 within 24 h after admission were (130±54), (80±16), and (109±39) nmol/L, respectively, and ACTH levels were (7.2±2.8), (4.1±1.8), and (6.0±3.0) pg/mL, respectively; and the other 3 patients had no such statistical results. After admission, the number of surgical operation for patients was 3.4±0.9. The following methods were used for wound repair, including direct suturing in 4 cases and autologous skin and/or artificial dermis grafting in 9 cases, of which 2 cases underwent stage Ⅱ autologous skin grafting after artificial dermis grafting in stage Ⅰ, and 6 cases had pedicled retrograde island flap+autologous skin grafting. The wound healing was observed, showing that all directly sutured wounds healed well; the wounds in 6 cases of autologous skin and/or artificial dermis grafting healed well, and the wounds in 3 cases also healed well after the secondary skin grafting; the flaps in 4 cases survived well with the wounds in 2 cases with distal perforators flap arteries circumfluence obstacle of posterior leg healed after stage Ⅱ debridement and autologous skin grafting. The healing status of skin/flap donor sites was followed showing that the donor sites of medium-thickness skin grafts in the thigh of 4 cases were well healed after transplanted with autologous split-thickness grafts from scalp; the donor sites of medium-thickness skin grafts in 3 cases did not undergo split-thickness skin grafting, of which 2 cases had poor healing but healed well after secondary skin grafting 2 weeks after surgery; the donor sites of split-thickness skin grafts in the head of 2 patients healed well; and all donor sites of flaps healed well after autologous skin grafting. During follow-up of more than half a year, 3 gout patients were hospitalized again for surgical treatment due to gout stone rupture, 4 patients were hospitalized again for surgical treatment due to infection, and no recurrent infection was found in the rest of patients. Conclusions: The infected wounds in patients with iatrogenic Cushing's syndrome have poor ability to regenerate and are prone to repeated infection. Local wound treatment together with multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment should be performed to control infection and close wounds in a timely manner, so as to maximize the benefits of patients.

Objective:To explore features and relevant influencing factor of ecological executive function in children with childhood absence epilepsy (CAE).Methods:Forty children with CAE (CAE group) and 40 healthy children with physical examination (control group) from April 2017 to July 2020 in Anhui Provincial Children′s Hospital were selected. The behavior rating inventory of executive function (BRIEF) parental questionnaire was used to evaluate the executive function of children. The differences of ecological executive function between 2 groups were compared. Results:The BRIEF total score, behavioral regulation index (BRI) and metacognition index (MI) in CAE group were significantly higher than those in control group: (52.03 ± 10.89) scores vs. (44.05±5.06) scores, (49.45 ± 9.93) scores vs. (43.85 ± 4.70) scores and (53.18 ± 11.24) scores vs. (44.95 ± 5.32) scores, and there were statistical differences ( P<0.01). Multiple stepwise regression analysis result showed that inhibit inhibition, shift, emotional control, initiation, working memory, planning, organization, monitoring, MI and total score were correlated with disease control ( P<0.01), and disease control had a negative predictive effect on them ( R2 = 0.174, 0.158, 0.234, 0.325, 0.383, 0.337, 0.378, 0.199, 0.463 and 0.435); BRI was correlated with onset age and disease control ( P<0.01 or <0.05), and onset age and disease control had a negative predictive effect on BRI ( R2 = 0.336). Conclusions:Children with CAE have ecological executive dysfunction. The control of the disease and the onset age are the main factors affecting the ecological executive function.

The culture of schistosomiasis control is specific in the history of Chinese culture. Broadly speaking, the culture of schistosomiasis control is a summary of specific social mood, social consciousness and material culture created by Chinese populations during the progress of schistosomiasis control since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Narrowly speaking, the culture of schistosomiasis control is the spiritual culture that is jointly created and nurtured by schistosomiasis control workers since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The spiritual features of Chinese schistosomiasis control culture are characterized by the patriotism and care about the people, the matter-to-fact attitude, the pioneering and enterprising spirit, and the spirit of sacrifice and dedication. The ultimate goal of the research on the culture of schistosomiasis control is to facilitate the achievement of the strategic goal of Healthy China 2030 as scheduled, accelerate the progress towards elimination of schistosomiasis, and to promote the sustainable development of schistosomiasis control in China.
