1.Effects of three sterilization methods on the magnetic flux of magnetic surgical devices and analysis of sterilization cost

		                        			Objective To analyze the effects of three sterilization methods,namely,pressure steam,low-temperature plasma and ethylene oxide,on the magnetic flux of magnetic surgical devices and their sterilization costs.Methods A total of 234 magnetic surgical devices of different specifications and models(magnetic rings)were randomly divided into Group A,Group B and Group C after the paired number was labelled,and each group consisted of 78 pieces(39 pairs).After packaging each pair of devices according to sterilization specifications,Group A was sterilized by pressure steam,Group B was sterilized by low-temperature plasma,and Group C was sterilized by ethylene oxide.We measured the magnetic flux of three sets of magnetic rings before and after sterilization,and comparatively analyzed the sterilization cost and sterilization time of the single package.Results There was no statistically significant difference in the impact of the three sterilization methods on the magnetic flux of the magnetic surgical devices(P>0.05),but there was a significant difference in the magnetic flux before and after sterilization for each sterilization method(P<0.001);the sterilization cost was(1.96±0.16)yuan for Group A,(23.17±0.32)yuan for Group B,and(8.16±0.18)yuan for Group C,showing statistically significant differences among the three groups(P<0.01).The sterilization time was(65.21±3.36)min for Group A,(45.46±1.39)min for Group B,and(1020.38±12.21)min for Group C,with statistically significant differences among the three groups(P<0.01).Conclusion None of the three sterilization methods affects the magnetic flux of the magnetic surgical devices.Pressure steam method shows the lowest cost of single package,low-temperature plasma method shows the highest cost of single package,while ethylene oxide method shows the highest sterilization time.Pressure steam should be the preferred sterilization method for magnetic surgical devices.

		                        			ObjectiveBased on ultra performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE) technique, we identified qualitatively the metabolites of aristolochic acid(AAs) in rat in order to analyze the metabolic differences between water extract of Aristolochiae fructus(AFE) and Aristolochic acid Ⅰ(AAⅠ). MethodSD rats were selected and administered AFE(110 g·kg-1·d-1) or AAⅠ(5 mg·kg-1·d-1) by oral for 5 days, respectively. Serum, urine and feces were collected after administration. Through sample pretreatment, ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column(2.1 mm×100 mm, 1.7 μm) was used with the mobile phase of 0.01% formic acid methanol(A)-0.01% formic acid water(B, containing 5 mmol·L-1 ammonium acetate) for gradient elution(0-1 min, 10%B; 1-7 min, 10%-75%B; 7-7.2 min, 75%-95%B; 7.2-10.2 min, 95%B; 10.2-10.3 min, 95%-10%B; 10.3-12 min, 10%B) at a flow rate of 0.3 mL·min-1. Positive ion mode of electrospray ionization(ESI+) was performed in the scanning range of m/z 100-1 200. In combination with UNIFI 1.9.4.053 system, the Pathway-MSE was used to qualitatively analyze and identify the AAs prototype and related metabolites in biological samples(serum, urine and feces), and to compare the similarities and differences of metabolites in rats in the subacute toxicity test between AFE group and AAⅠ group. ResultCompared with AAⅠ group, 6, 10, 13 common metabolites and 14, 20, 30 unique metabolites were identified in biological samples(serum, urine and feces) of AFE group, respectively. Moreover, the main AAs components always followed the metabolic processes of demethylation, nitrate reduction and conjugation. Compared with common metabolites in AAⅠ group, prototype components of AAⅠ in serum and most metabolic derivatives of AAⅠ[AAⅠa, aristolochic lactam Ⅰ(ALⅠ)a, 7-OHALⅠ and its conjugated derivatives] in biological samples were significantly increased in AFE group(P<0.05, P<0.01), except that the metabolic amount of ALⅠ in feces of AFE group was remarkably lowed than that of AAⅠ group(P<0.01). In addition, a variety of special ALⅠ efflux derivatives were also identified in the urine and feces of the AFE group. ConclusionAlthough major AAs components in AFE all show similar metabolic rules as AAⅠ components in vivo, the coexistence of multiple AAs components in Aristolochiae Fructus may affect the metabolism of AAⅠ, and achieve the attenuating effect by increasing the metabolic effection of AAⅠ and ALⅠ. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
4.Clinical study of Chaichuan Tongren Mixture supplemented with hysteroscopic recanalization for the patients with tubal obstructive infertility of liver depression and qi stagnation type

		                        			Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Chaichuan Tongren Mixture supplemented with hysteroscopic recanalization in the treatment of tubal obstructive infertility of liver depression and qi stagnation type.Methods:A total of 60 patients with tubal obstructive infertility of liver depression and qi stagnation type who met the inclusion criteria were selected, between August 2018 and June 2020, and they were divided into the observation group with 31 cases and the control group with 29 cases, according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with hysteroscopic recanalization, while the observation group was given Chaichuan Tongren Mixture on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 4 months and followed up for 12 months. TCM syndromes were scored before and after treatment, and prostaglandin E 2 (PGE 2) was detected by fully automatic biochemical analyzer and levels of TNF-α, CRP and IL-6 were measured by ELISA. The tubal patency of patients after treatment was observed, the pregnancy status was recorded after the end of follow-up and the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results:The total effective rate was 96.77% in the observation group and that in the control group was 75.86% ( χ2=4.01, P<0.01). The scores of breast distending pain, irregular menstruation, dark purple menstrual flow and lumbosacral pain in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those in the control group ( t values were 17.69, 21.67, 20.89, 14.67, 18.20, respectively, all Ps<0.001). After treatment, the levels of serum PGE 2, TNF-α, CRP, and IL-6 were significantly lower in the observation group than those in the control group [(65.31±6.73) ng/L vs. (87.10±8.85) ng/L, t=10.78; (6.90±0.71) ng/L vs. (11.35±1.23) ng/L, t=17.30; (2.47±0.25) mg/L vs. (5.10±0.52) mg/L, t=25.23; (12.38±1.26) ng/L vs. (30.16±3.15) ng/L, t=29.05] ( P<0.01). After treatment, there was statistical significance in the total effective rate of tubal patency of 96.8% (30/31) in the observation group compared to 79.3% (23/29) in the control group ( χ2=4.43, P<0.01). At the end of follow-up, the pregnancy rate was 71.0% (22/31) in the observation group and 44.8% (13/29) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( χ2=4.21, P<0.01). Conclusion:The Chaichuan Tongren Mixture supplemented with hysteroscopic recanalization can reduce the levels of inflammatory mediators and increase the pregnancy rate of patients with tubal obstructive infertility of liver depression and qi stagnation type.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
5.The relationships among atherogenic index of plasma and inflammatory adipocytokines with the severity of coronary artery calcification in coronary artery disease

		                        			Objective:The aims of the study were to investigate the relationship among atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) and inflammatory adipocytokines with the severity of coronary artery calcification (CAC) score in coronary artery disease (CAD). And then we analyzed the diagnostic value of the new markers on CAC.Methods:A total of 241 patients with CAD diagnosed by coronary CT angiography (CTA) and coronary angiography in Baoding First Central Hospital from June 2019 to June 2020 were retrospectively enrolled. According to the presence of calcification in coronary CTA, they were divided into CAC group ( n=63) and non-CAC group ( n=178). The clinical data of the patients were collected, and the levels of serum inflammatory factors were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The correlation between CAC score and AIP and inflammatory cytokines was analyzed. The diagnostic value of AIP and inflammatory factors in the formation of CAC in patients with CAD. Results:The levels of AIP, serum osteoprotegerin (OPG) and oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) in CAC group were higher than those in non-CAC group, while the levels of serum fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) were lower than those in non-CAC group, with statistically significant difference (all P<0.01). Correlation analysis showed that CAC score of CAD patients was positively correlated with AIP, OPG and COMP ( r=0.581, 0.451, 0.326, P<0.05), and negatively correlated with FGF21 ( r=-0.294, P<0.05). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis showed that AIP, OPG, COMP and FGF21 had diagnostic value for CAC in CAD patients (all P<0.05). AIP>0.387, OPG>5.150 ng/ml, FGF21>136.35 pg/ml, COMP>733.16 ng/ml were independent factors affecting the formation of CAC (all P<0.05). Conclusions:The increase of AIP and the change of inflammatory factors can be used as markers for the diagnosis of CAC formation in CAD patients.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
6.Effects of Mangiferin on Glucose and Lipid Metabolism of Insulin-resistant HepG2 Cells

		                        			OBJECTIVE:To analyze the effects of mangiferin (MGF)on glucose and lipid metabolism in insulin resistance (IR)HepG2 cells,and to explore the potential mechanism. METHODS :Using human hepatoma HepG 2 cells as research objects , 1 mmol/L palmitic acid and 2 mmol/L oleic acid were used to establish the IR-HepG 2 cell model. Using metformin hydrochloride as positive control ,the effects of low-concentration ,medium-concentration and high-concentration MGF (125,250,500 μmol/L)on the corrected glucose consumption ,the contents of triglyceride (TG)and total cholesterol (TC)in IR-HepG 2 cells were detected. The mRNA expression of APN ,AdipoR2,APPL1,AMPK in the upstream of AMPK signaling pathway and IRS- 1,Akt and GLUT4 in the downstream insulin signaling pathway were detected by RT-PCR. The phosphorylation level of AMPK protein was detected by Western blot assay. RESULTS :Compared with control group ,corrected glucose consumption ,mRNA expression of APN,AdipoR2,APPL1,AMPK,IRS-1 and GLUT 4,as well as the phosphorylation level of AMPK protein were decreased significantly in model group ,while the contents of TG and TC were increased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model group , corrected glucose consumption , mRNA expression of APN (except for MGF medium-concentration and high-concentration groups ),AdipoR2,APPL1,AMPK(except for MGF medium-concentration and high-concentration groups ), IRS-1(except for MGF medium-concentration and high-concentration groups ),Akt(except for positive control group ),GLUT4 (except for MGF high-concentration group )were increased significantly in administration groups ,while the contents of TG and TC were decreased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS :Mangiferin may activate APN ,which is the upstream target of pathway ,and then regulate AMPK signaling pathway ,so as to promote glucose uptake of IR-HepG 2 cells,reduce TG and TC contents,and improve IR and abnormal glucose and lipid metabolism.

		                        			Objective:To summarize the clinical characteristics of patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infected with Delta variant, so as to provide further references for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:A real-world study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of 166 COVID-19 patients infected with Delta variant at Guangzhou Eighth People’s Hospital, Guangzhou Medical University.Results:The study enrolled 5 asymptomatic cases, 123 non-severe cases (mild and moderate type), and 38 severe cases (severe and critical type). Among these patients, 69 (41.6%) were male and 97 (58.4%) were female, with a mean age of 47.0±23.5 years. Thirty-nine cases (23.5%) had received 1 or 2 doses of inactivated vaccine. The incidence of severe COVID-19 cases was 7.7% in 2-doses vaccinated patients, which was lower than that of 11.5% in 1-dose and 26.8% in unvaccinated patients. The proportion of severe cases in 2 dose-vaccinated patients was 7.7%, which was lower than that of 11.5% in 1-dose vaccinated patients and 26.8% in unvaccinated patients, but the difference was not significant ( P>0.05). The most common clinical symptom was fever (134 cases, 83.2%), and 39.1% of cases presented with high-grade fever (≥39 °C); other symptoms were cough, sputum, fatigue, and xerostomia. The proportion of fever in severe cases was significantly higher than that of non-severe cases (97.4% vs. 76.4%, P<0.01). Similarly, the proportion of severe cases with high peak temperature (≥39 ℃) () was also higher than that of non-severe cases (65.8% vs. 30.9%, P<0.01). The median minimal Cycle threshold (Ct) values of viral nucleic acid N gene and ORFlab gene were 20.3 and 21.5, respectively, and the minimum Ct values were 11.9 and 13.5, respectively. Within 48 h of admission, 9.0% of cases presented with decreased white blood cell counts, and 52.4% with decreased lymphocyte counts. The proportions of increased C-reactive protein, serum amyloid A, interleukin 6, and interleukin 10 were 32.5%, 57.4%, 65.3%, and 35.7%, respectively. The proportions of elevated C-reactive protein, serum amyloid A and interleukin-6 in severe cases were significantly higher than those in non-severe cases ( P<0.01). Logistic regression analysis showed that older age and higher peak temperature were associated with a higher likelihood of severe cases ( OR>3, 95% CI: 2-7, P<0.01). In terms of treatment, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) was used in 97.6% of non-severe cases and 100% in severe cases. Other treatments included respiratory and nutritional support, immunotherapy (such as neutralizing antibodies and plasma of recovered patients). The median times from admission to progression to severe cases, of fever clearance, and of nucleic acid conversion were 5 days, 6 days and 19 days, respectively. No deaths were reported within 28 days. Conclusions:The symptoms of Delta variant infection in Guangzhou are characterized by a high proportion of fever, high peak temperature, long duration of fever, high viral load, a long time to nucleic acid conversion, and a high incidence of severe cases. The severe cases exhibit a higher percentage of elderly patients, a longer duration of fever and have a higher fever rate and a higher hyperthermia rate than non-severe cases. Age and hyperthermia are independent risk factors for progression to severe disease. 8.Epidemiological characteristics of Chlamydia pneumoniae in cases with acute respiratory infection in Beijing, 2015-2019

		                        			Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of Chlamydia pneumoniae infection among patients with acute respiratory infection in Beijing from 2015 to 2019. Methods:The epidemiological data of acute respiratory infection patients from 35 sentinel hospitals in Beijing were collected by the respiratory pathogen surveillance system in Beijing. The clinical samples were collected to detect Chlamydia pneumoniae, and the sequence of the VD4 region of the ompA gene in positive samples was analyzed. Results:From January 2015 to December 2019, the overall positive rate of Chlamydia pneumoniae among patients with acute respiratory infection in Beijing was 0.34% (129/37 460). The positive rate of Chlamydia pneumoniae generally increased in March, reaching the peak in May, and started to drop in July, with a duration of about 5-8 months. The epidemic season in different years fluctuated by 1-2 months. The positive monthly rate of Chlamydia pneumoniae was no less than 0.30% in every epidemic season. The positive rate of Chlamydia pneumoniae was the highest in the 5-44 years old group and the highest in 10-14 year-olds. The risk of Chlamydia pneumoniae infection increased with age in patients younger than 25 years old and decreased in those older one aged than 25 years of age. The positive rates in male and female patients were 0.33% (68/20 830) and 0.37% (61/16 528), respectively, and there was no significant difference between the two groups ( χ 2=0.486, P=0.486). The positive rate of Chlamydia pneumoniae in patients with common pneumonia was higher than that in patients with upper pneumonia and severe pneumonia ( χ 2=36.797, P<0.01). Other respiratory pathogens were also detected in the Chlamydia pneumoniae samples, and the top four pathogens appeared as Haemophilus influenzae (15 cases), Streptococcus pneumoniae (13 cases), Rhinovirus (8 cases), and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (7 cases). 101 strains of 129 Chlamydia pneumoniae positive samples were identified as type A by sequencing. Conclusions:The annual epidemic pattern of Chlamydia pneumoniae in Beijing, is unimodal, and the epidemic season generally appears from March to July. The seasonal characteristics of Chlamydia pneumoniae in Beijing can be used for the differential diagnosis of Chlamydia pneumoniae from other respiratory pathogens. Chlamydia pneumoniae is most common in people aged 5-44 years, and the primary genotype is type A. People aged 10-44 years old suffer the highest incidence. If the nucleic acid positive rate of Chlamydia pneumoniae exceeds 0.30% for two consecutive months, the high prevalence period of Chlamydia pneumoniae can be preliminarily expected. 		                        			To analyze the epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, treatment and the short-term prognosis of 31 cases of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infection in children from six provinces (autonomous region) in northern China.
		                        		
		                        			Methods:
		                        			A retrospective analysis of the epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, signs, laboratory examinations, chest imaging, treatment and the short-term prognosis of 31 cases of 2019-nCoV was conducted. The patients were diagnosed between January 25th, 2020 and February 21st, 2020 in 21 hospitals in 17 cities of six provinces(autonomous region) of Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Hebei, Henan and Shandong.
		                        		
		                        			Results:
		                        			The age of the 31 children with 2019-nCoV infection was 7 years and 1 month (6 months -17 years). Nine cases (29%) were imported cases. Other 21 cases (68%) had contact with confirmed infected adults. One case (3%) had contact with asymptomatic returnees from Wuhan. Among the 31 children, 28 patients (90%) were family cluster cases. The clinical types were asymptomatic type in 4 cases (13%), mild type in 13 cases (42%), and common type in 14 cases (45%). No severe or critical type existed. 		                        			Objective:To study the clinical characteristics and compliance of early-onset gout patients by case-control analysis.Methods:A total of 111 early-onset patients (onset age ≤35 years old) were included as Group A, and 111 non-early-onset patients (onset age >35 years old) with matched disease durationwere included as Group B. The differences ofclinical characteristics, causes of acute gout attack, dairy diet habits, compliance, and misunderstanding of the disease were compared.Results:Compared with the non-early-onsetgoutpatients, the early-onset patients had a higher proportion of obesity (63 cases vs 28 cases), family history (36 cases vs 20 cases) and tophus (39 cases vs 23 cases) and higher level of VAS scores (8.5±1.3 vs 7.6±1.7; χ2=22.988, P<0.01; χ2=5.749, P=0.016; χ2=5.729, P=0.017; t=4.639, P<0.01), lowerproportionof the first metatarsophalangeal joint involvement as the initial joint involvement (45.9%, 51 cases vs 59.4%, 66 cases; χ2=4.066, P=0.044), higher proportion of the ankle involvement as the initial joint involvement (34.2%, 38 cases vs 21.6%, 24 cases; χ2=4.386, P=0.036), higher proportion of alcohol drinkers and high fructose drinkers, which was more likely to relate to alcohol intake, strenuous exercise and high fructose intakeas trigger of the flare ( χ2=6.513, P=0.011; χ2=7.126, P=0.008; χ2=1.978, P=0.160), while the proportion of regular exercisers and on diet in the family was lower ( χ2=22.887, P<0.01; t=-4.917, P<0.01). The proportion of poor diet and medication compliance in Group A was higher than that in Group B(57.7%, 64 cases vs 38.7%, 43 cases; χ2=5.207, P=0.022; χ2=5.867, P=0.015). As for the reason for poor treatment compliance, early-onset gout patients were more worry about the side-effects of drugs than non-early onset patients ( χ2=4.190, P=0.041). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the main misunderstanding of gout. Conclusion:Although early onset gout patients are young, their condition is more serious, and compliance is poorer, this group of patients should be highly valued in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
