Chinese Hospital Management 2024;44(6):87-89
The ethical review work in hospitals has played an increasingly important role in protecting the rights and safety of subjects. However,in its practical process, there are inevitably a series of problems and difficulties, such as the need for a sound and perfect organizational structure of the ethical team, the need for detailed manage-ment system operation, and the need for standardized and innovative internal control supervision and assessment. It analyzes the practical issues of hospital ethical review and the optimisation strategies of ethical review are ex-plored based on institutional ethical perspectives to provide reference for improving the quality of ethical review in hospitals.

Objective To explore the mediating role of eating disorders in the relationship between body image satisfaction and anxiety symptoms among college students, and further examine the moderating effect of mindfulness on this mediating pathway. Methods By using convenience sampling,we conducted baseline and follow-up surveys among freshmen and sophomores at two universities in Xizang Autonomous Region from September to December 2021.Measurements included the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale, the body image satisfaction subscale of the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire, the Eating Attitudes Test, and the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale.Data analyses performed using SPSS 23.0 included Pearson correlation analysis, mediation(model 4),and moderation(model 58)effect analysis. Results A total of 2 993 students participated in both the baseline and follow-up surveys, including 1 007 males(34.3%)and 1,666 Tibetan and other ethnic minorities(56.8%),with an average age of 19.8(SD=1.3)years.Body image satisfaction significantly predicted anxiety symptoms, and this relationship was partially mediated by disordered eating. The presence of mindfulness moderated the impact of body image satisfaction on disordered eating and the influence of disordered eating on anxiety symptoms, indicating varying strengths of these relationships at different levels of mindfulness. Conclusion This study demonstrates that body image satisfaction can significantly predict anxiety symptoms, with disordered eating playing a mediating role in this relationship. The moderating effect of mindfulness further reveals that students with high levels of mindfulness are less likely to experience eating disorders influenced by body image dissatisfaction.Interventions for college students'mental health should consider including management of body image and eating behaviors,as well as mindfulness training.

[Objective]To investigate the depression status and its influencing factors in HIV/AIDS patients receiving antiviral therapy.[Methods]From July 2022 to September 2022,successive sampling method was used to recruit HIV/AIDS patients receiving antiviral therapy from antiviral treatment institutions in Nanjing, and they were instructed to fill out anonymous questionnaires. The questionnaire collected the basic information of patients, and depression,HIV stigma score and social support level were investigated by Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9),Berger HIV stigma scale(BHSS)and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MSPSS).Multivariate Logistic regression was used to an-alyze the influencing factors of depression.[Results]A total of 1879 valid questionnaires were collected in this study, and the detection rate of depression was 50.1%.The results of multivariate logistic analysis showed that compared with patients with middle school or below, the risk of depression was lower for those with postgraduate or above[OR=0.534,95%CI(0.341,0.835),P=0.006].Compared with antiviral therapy duration<1 year, antiviral therapy duration for 1 to 5 years[OR=0.729,95%CI(0.536,0.991)],>5 to 10 years[OR=0.516,95%CI(0.379,0.702)],>10 years[OR=0.603,95%CI(0.375,0.969)]was associated with a lower risk of depression.High level of social support was a protective factor for depression in HIV/AIDS patients compared with middle and low level of social support[OR=0.430,95%CI(0.349,0.530),P<0.001].There was a higher risk of depression with side effects than without side effects[OR=2.260,95%CI(1.833,2.786),P<0.001].The higher the score on the HIV stigma scale, the higher the possibility of depression was.[Conclusion]The detection rate of depression of patients receiving antiviral therapy in Nanjing is high. After starting antivi-ral therapy,we should strengthen the monitoring of side effects and psychological status of patients, carry out psychologi-cal intervention, alleviate psychological problems, and improve the quality of life of patients receiving antiviral therapy.

Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2024;33(6):541-545
Pb exhibits toxic effects on various organ and tissues.Despite the prohibition of leaded gasoline and paint,a considerable amount of Pb remains in the environment, posing a significant threat to public health and safety. Therefore,it is urgent to clarify the mechanisms of Pb toxicity.Numerous studies have indicated that mitochondria are the sensitive targets of Pb.Pb can not only induce mitochondrial oxidative stress and energy metabolism disorder, but also cause mitochondrial dysfunction, leading to inflammation, apoptosis, autophagy, and other disorders. Therefore, mitochondrial dysfunction is a critical mechanism of Pb toxicity. This article reviews the research progress in the effects of Pb on mitochondrial membrane permeability, mitochondrial autophagy, mitochondrial fusion and fission, aiming to provide a reference for future mechanism studies and intervention treatment of Pb poisoning.
