Abstract:
The pandemic of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has developed as a tremendous threat to global health as an emerging pathogen. In recent decades, emerging and reemerging infectious diseases have been emerging. Globalization, urbanization and climate change have increased the complexity of disease prevention and control. China has adopted a joint prevention and control measures in response to the outbreak of COVID-19, which is one of the practical models of One Health strategy. Focusing on the human animal environment interface, One Health strategy aims to promote interdisciplinary exchanges and cooperation among professionals in human, animal and environmental health through the intersection and integration of their knowledge, so as to finally achieve the best health state of them, which is of great significance in the prevention and control of infectious diseases. This paper introduces the factors of emerging and recurrent infectious diseases and the practice modes of One Health strategy.
