Abstract: This year is the centenary of the Communist Party of China（CPC）！In the past 100 years，under the leadership of CPC，Chinese orthopaedics has developed gradually and achieved a series of achievements. The hand surgery was developed late in China，just began to develop in the 1950s，but it has made some achievements. In order to pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of CPC，the author briefly reviews the development of hand surgery in China，especially in Huashan Hospital.
