Abstract: Combined bacterial infection is a common complication of influenza, and it is one of the main causes of high mortality of influenza in epidemic season.Such Gram-positive bacteria as Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus and Group A streptococcus are common pathogens.The epidemiological characteristics, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prophylaxis of influenza virus combined with Gram-positive bacterial infection would be reviewed in this report.
