Abstract:
Non-coding RNA (ncRNA) plays an important role in regulation of gene expression and its role in the occurrence and development of diseases has become one of the current research focuses. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a kind of chronic degenerative disease of mobile joints that is closely related to age. The function of chondrocytes is gradually reduced due to age, trauma and other factors, and the synthesis and metabolic capacity are gradually reduced. Therefore, it is impossible to effectively synthesize cartilage matrix to maintain cartilage volume and cartilage structure, which leads to the occurrence of OA. In recent years, with the development of the pathogenesis of OA in the field of molecular biology, the study on the relationship between OA and ncRNA is also gradually deepened. In this paper, the relevant studies on the regulatory role of ncRNA in the pathogenesis of OA are reviewed to provide a reference for prevention and treatment of OA.
