- Abstract: The material base of TCM of preventing and curing diseases is an organic whole composed of many ingredients,and which has the characteristics of multi component,multi link and multi target.After many years of exploration and accumulation,the component structure theory of TCM based on the whole concept has been improved and developed.This paper systematically discussed cognition of material base of TCM and scientific connotation of innovative structural components of TCM focused on component structure theory,so as to provide strategies and methods for the research and development of modern innovative Chinese medicine preparations.
