- Abstract: The characteristic features of Churg-Strauss syndrome are vasculitis, both intra- and extravascular granuloma formation with eosinophilic tissue infiltration, and strong association with asthma and peripheral eosinophilia. Churg-Strauss syndrome with pleural effusion is relatively common and only a few cases have previously been reported in Korea. We report a case of Churg-Strauss syndrome with pleural effusion confirmed by VATS.
