- Abstract: Muco-submucosal elongated polyp is a non-neoplastic growth composed of normal mucosa and submucosal tissue. It was first reported by Matake and his colleagues and has been found mainly in the colon. The term colonic muco-submucosal elongated polyp was proposed for colonic lesions. However, only a few cases have been reported in the duodenum and jejunum of the small intestine. These lesions are called enteric muco-submucosal elongated polyp, and intussusception is very rare. In this case report, I experienced a case of enteric muco-submucosal elongated polyp that occurred in the jejunum of the small intestine and caused intussusception.
