- Abstract: Perforation of a Meckel’s diverticulum with a foreign body is a rare complication. Whether in children or adults, fish bones have been reported to cause perforation in a Meckel’s diverticulum, but few cases have been reported in which swallowing relatively large bones such as chicken bones results in perforation. We report a case of perforation of a Meckel’s diverticulum caused by swallowing a chicken bone.
