Abstract: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive memory deficits and cognitive decline. Previous studies of peripheral blood biomarkers in AD have been focused on alterations of β-amyloid (Aβ) and phosphorylated (p)-tau. This article reviews the research progress of new biomarkers, such as inflammatory factors, metabolic indicators, and non-coding RNA, in peripheral blood of AD in recent years, in order to provide references for AD diagnosis.
