Abstract:
Mixed methods systematic review(MMSR)is a type of review that comprehensively integrates qualitative and quantitative data to produce evidence to guide decision-making on a topic. This paper reviewed the application, method classification, specific implementation steps, and other methodological content of MMSR.At the same time, literature retrieval was used to analyze the published MMSR-related literature.According to the review results,MMSR can be divided into 2 main types:convergent approach and sequential approach. The domestic application started late and mainly focused on the patient's physiological and emotional status. Therefore, the application scope of this method should be continuously expanded in medical and nursing in the future to adapt to social development and practical needs and continue to promote the development of MMSR standardization.
