- Abstract: Endometrial cancer(EC)is a common pelvic malignant uterine tumor in women. The traditional classification method of EC is mainly based on histopathological morphology, while this classification method has high personal subjectivity, low repeatability, and limited value in assessing prognosis. With the research on the molecular mechanisms of cancer and the development of advanced gene sequencing technology,it is now possible to reclassify cancer by studying the cancer genome atlas(TCGA).This new classification method can help doctors to conduct more accurate risk assessments, provide more effective personalized treatment plans for EC patients, and predict the prognosis of EC patients by using TCGA data, which is expected to improve the treatment outcomes and survival rates of EC patients. This paper summarized the related research on molecular typing in EC at home and abroad,in order to provide new guidance and ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of EC in clinical practice.
