Abstract: Oral problems and dysphagia are common in the elderly, and they interact each other, seriously affecting health outcome and quality of life of the elderly. Early identification of dysphagia, assessment of oral problems and targeted intervention measures are of great significance to improve health outcome and quality of life of the elderly. The article reviews the relationship between dysphagia and oral problems, and the management strategies of oral health in the elderly with dysphagia, so as to provide clinical basis for clinical rehabilitation of dysphagia and oral health management.
