Abstract:
Objective:To explore the correlation between quality of life and psychological resilience in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) .Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 158 IBD patients hospitalized in Department of Gastroenterology in Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from October 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects. The patients were investigated by Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire (IBDQ) and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) . Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between quality of life and psychological resilience in patients with IBD. In this study, a total of 158 questionnaires were distributed and 156 valid questionnaires were recovered. Results:Scores of IBDQ and CD-RISC of IBD patients were respectively (165.28±41.58) and (64.50±14.30) . There were statistically significant differences in IBDQ scores among patients with different disease activity severity of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis ( P<0.05) . There was a positive correlation between quality of life and psychological resilience ( r=0.380, P<0.01) . Conclusions:There is a correlation between quality of life and psychological resilience of IBD patients. It is necessary to pay more attention to the psychological status of inpatients, help patients improve their self-management and coping ability, and then improve quality of life of patients.
