Abstract:
Wound healing is a complex pathophysiological process that is affected by many systemic and local factors. Undisturbed wound healing (UWH) is a new concept whereby the disturbance to the wound healing process is reduced and the wound healing outcome is improved mainly through the selection of wound dressings with appropriate performance and reducing the frequency of dressing changes. This paper summarizes the development, intervention measures, and advantages of the concept of UWH, aiming to provide new ideas and directions for wound diagnosis and treatment.
