Abstract:
Objective:To conduct a bibliometric analysis of perinatal posttraumatic stress disorder (PPTSD) , accurately understand the development status and research hotspots in this field, and provide references for further in-depth research. Methods:Articles on PPTSD published from 1975 to December 21, 2020 from the Web of Science core collection database were retrieved, and toa bibliometric analysis was conducted on the distribution characteristics, research hotspots, and research frontiers of these articles using Histcite software. Results:A total of 1 531 articles were retrieved, and European and American countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada and their research institutions were at an advanced level of research in the field of PPTSD. Predictive models, molecular mechanisms, and long-term effects on off spring of PPTSD were at the fore front of research in this field. Prenatal PTSD, perinatal depression co-morbidity, and intimate partner violence were the hotspots of research in this field. Conclusions:Currently, the research in the field of PPTSD in China has gradually started, and future research can be conducted in a more in-depth manner by combining the current research hotspots and research frontiers.
