Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effect of health education model based on the mind map on the compliance behavior and self-perceive burden of patients with intra-articular fractures of extremities. Methods:From May 2018 to December 2019, a total of 172 patients with intra-articular fractures of extremities from the First People's Hospital of Shangqiu, Henan Province were selected and divided into observation group ( n=85) and control group ( n=87) . Control group carried out routine health education, and observation group implemented health education based on the mind map. The compliance behavior and self-perceived burden of the two groups of patients were compared. Results:At 6 months after the operation, scores of compliance behavior of observation group and control group were (41.44±4.24) and (27.93±4.18) respectively, and the difference was statistically significant ( t=21.021, P<0.01) . There were 70.6% (60/85) of patients without self-perceived burden in observation group, and 20.7% (18/87) in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ 2=43.494, P<0.01) . Conclusions:The implementation of health education based on the mind map can improve the compliance behavior of patients with intra-articular fractures of extremities and relieve the self-perceive burden.
