Abstract:
Objective:To explore the application value of establishing a traceability system based on the information sharing platform in Supply Room management.Methods:Since June 2019, the Supply Room of Shandong Eye Hospital established a traceability system with the support of the information sharing platform. The Supply Room of our hospital recovered 16 583 ophthalmic microscopic instruments from January to May 2019 (before the establishment of the traceability system) and 18 371 ophthalmic microscopic instruments from June to October 2019 (after the establishment of the traceability system) . Device recovery, cleaning, packaging quality, information recording efficiency, device distribution and department satisfaction were compared before and after the establishment of the traceability system.Results:After the establishment of the traceability system, the qualified rate of equipment recovery was 97.52% (17 915/18 371) , the qualified rate of cleaning was 99.68% (18 312/18 371) , the qualified rate of packaging was 99.91% (18 355/18 371) and the correct distribution rate of equipment was 99.98% (18 367/18 371) , which were significantly higher than those before establishment 96.20% (15 953/16 583) , 99.52% (16 504/16 583) , 99.80% (16 550/16 583) and 99.76% (16 544/16 583) ) , and the differences were statistically significant (χ 2=50.209, 5.341, 7.797, 32.306; P<0.05) . After the establishment of the traceability system, the inventory accuracy rate of the supply center was 100.00% (18 371/18 371) , which was higher than 99.25% (16 459/16 583) before the establishment, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.01) . After the establishment of the traceability system, the classification time and packaging time of 50 packs of devices were (3.93±0.68) and (10.29±1.73) min, both shorter than (9.58±2.36) and (14.13±3.57) min before the establishment, and the differences were statistically significant ( t=16.267, 6.845; P<0.01) . After the establishment of the traceability system, the expiry rate of device package was 0.67% (123/18 371) , which was lower than 2.09% (348/16 583) before the establishment, and the difference was statistically significant (χ 2=133.885, P<0.01) . After the establishment of the traceability system, scores of device distribution, device use and total scores of medical staff in the department were respectively (48.41±1.16) , (47.86±2.87) and (96.27±3.94) , which were higher than (47.66±1.54) , (45.72±3.69) and (93.38±4.78) before the establishment, and the differences were statistically significant ( t=6.738, 7.929, 8.081; P<0.01) . Conclusions:The establishment of traceability system in the information sharing platform in Supply Room of hospitals can continuously control the quality of equipment in the Supply Room, carry out refined and information management, improve the quality of equipment and the efficiency of equipment operation and reduce work errors, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
