Abstract:
Objective:To explore the effects of family-centered nursing intervention in the treatment of children with autism. Methods:Totally 120 children with autism who were treated in Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University between January and December 2019 were selected and divided into the intervention group ( n=60) and the control group ( n=60) according to the random number table. Patients in the control group received routine care, while patients in the intervention group received family-centered nursing intervention. The Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC) , Childhood Autism Rating Scale and parents' satisfaction with nursing service were used for investigation and analysis 3 months before intervention and after intervention. Results:Before intervention, there was no significant difference in ABC, CARS, and PEP3 scores between the two groups of children ( P>0.05) . After intervention, the ABC score of children in the intervention group was lower, the degree of autism in children in the intervention group was lower, and the parents' satisfaction with nursing care was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Family-centered nursing intervention can effectively improve the psychological condition of children, reduce the degree of autism, and improve parents' satisfaction, which is worth promoting in clinical practice.
