Abstract:
Objective This study aims to explore the efficacy of a cloud-based follow-up intelligent service model for daytime surgery in enhancing patient experience and improving service efficiency, thus promoting the high-quality development of daytime surgery. Methods Based on the intelligent approach of cloud-based follow-up,a comprehensive service model was con-structed for the pre-hospital,in-hospital,and post-hospital phases. Before hospital admission, patients were offered convenient services such as appointments and education.During hospital stay, information intelligent health education was integrated with the clinical nursing pathway for daytime surgery. After hospital discharge, comprehensive follow-ups and satisfaction surveys were conducted to ensure closed-loop management of daytime surgical patients. Results After the implementation of the cloud-based follow-up intelligent service model of daytime surgery in January 2021,a standard follow-up system and management norms were formed.Compared with traditional method, this model expanded follow-up coverage from department-specific diseases to all day surgery diseases, increasing patient health knowledge awareness by 34.12%and patient satisfaction by 10.5%year-on-year.It also significantly enhanced follow-up work efficiency and reduced human resource costs. Conclusion The intelligent service mode of daytime surgery cloud-based follow-up can improve the patient's medical consultation experience, enhance the work effi-ciency of medical staff, make the medical service advance and delay, and provide scientific decision-making basis for the reasona-ble allocation of wards and resources.
