- Abstract: Idiopathic inflammatory myopathy(IIM)is a heterogeneous autoimmune disease of unknown etiology characterized by proximal limb muscle involvement and chronic inflammation.Multiple systems may be involved,with interstitial lung disease(ILD)being the most common manifestation of respiratory system involvement in IIM.This article summarizes the current methods of myositis animal models and myositis-associated ILD model construction methods,so as to provide reference for the subsequent construction and research of IIM-ILD models.
