Objective To retrospect the early programmed emergency care plan for patients with venomous snake bite, and provide evidence and experience for early emergency treatment in clinic. Methods Based on retrospective analysis,56 patients with venomous snake bite were collected from Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital during March 2010 to March 2015 by using cluster sampling. The eligible participants should be treated by early programmed emergency care plan. Results Among all participants:51 patients were discharged from the hospital;three patients got better;two cases were died (i.e. one was bitten by Trimeresurus stejnegeri, and one was bitten by Agkistrodon acutus). Conclusions The early programmed emergency care plan for patients with venomous snake bite is beneficial and recommendable, and it is worth of promoting in clinical treatment.
