Abstract:
Frailty is prevalent in elderly population,which can lead to some adverse effects,such as fall,being in hospital and disability,threaten the health of elderly people and result in great challenges for medical workers of elderly people.Early and effective frailty screening of elderly people and timely interventions can prevent and delay adverse consequences.There are many tools to assess elderly frailty.This article describes and summarizes several scales which commonly evaluate elderly frailty in order to provide options and references for medical workers to evaluate elderly frailty effectively.
