Abstract:
Test of infant motor performance（TIMP）is a motor assessment tool for infants under the age of 4 months，which can identify motor developmental delay in infants.Therefore，TIMP can detect the diseases that may cause motor developmental delay in infants，especially those show motor developmental delay in early infancy.In addition，the clinical application of TIMP also includes providing a reference plan for early motor intervention in infants with developmental delay，and evaluating the efficacy after intervention.This article reviews the application of TIMP in diseases that may cause motor developmental delay in infants，and introduces the role and value of TIMP in the early identification and rehabilitation of these diseases，so as to provide reference for the rational application of TIMP in diseases related to early development in infants.
