Effect of stent-assisted coil intracranial embolization in patients with ruptured intracranial aneurysms

- Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of stent-assisted coil intracranial embolization in patients with ruptured intracranial aneurysms.Methods A total of 110 patients with ruptured in-tracranial aneurysm were selected as the study objects.The patients were divided into control group(pure embolization with spring coil,n=55)and study group(stent-assisted embolization with spring coil,n=55)according to the stent assisted method.The operation status,length of hospital stay,nerve function,serum myelin basic protein(MBP)level,clinical efficacy and cerebrospinal fluid in-flammatory factor level were compared between the two groups.Results After surgery,the levels of nerve growth factor(NGF)and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)in the two groups were sig-nificantly higher than those before surgery,and those in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After operation,the levels of serum MBP and cerebrospinal flu-id interleukin-4(IL-4),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-8(IL-8)in two groups were significantly higher than those before operation,and those in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 96.36%,which was significantly higher than 83.64%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Stent as-sisted coil intracranial embolization has a good effect in patients with ruptured intracranial aneurysm,which can improve the nerve function of patients,reduce the level of cerebrospinal fluid inflammation and serum MBP.
