Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the risk of urinary tract infection after total cystectomy and to propose nursing intervention measures. Methods A total of 86 patients with total cystectomy treated were selected as study subjects. The single factor and multi factor Logistic regression analysis were performed on the clinical data of the patients with infection. Results There were 19 patients with urinary tract infection. The age, sex, prostatic hyperplasia, diabetes mellitus, antibiotic use, hepatic and renal insufficiency, and hospital stay time were risk factors for urinary tract infection (P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that age, diabetes, not using antibacterial drugs, length of stay in hospital were independent risk factors for postoperative urinary tract infection. Conclusion The incidence rate of urinary tract infection after total cystectomy is high, and the risk factors are various.Targeted intervention should be implemented to reduce the incidence of postoperative urinary tract infection.
