- Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of postoperative nursing intervention in promoting gastrointestinal function recovery in patients with gastric cancer.Methods A total of 86 gastric cancer patients with radical operation were randomly divided into two groups, the control group with 43 cases was given routine nursing, and the observation group with 43 cases was given intensive nursing intervention based on the control group.The postoperative pain and gastrointestinal function were compared.Results The postoperative pain in the observation group was less than that in the control group, pain call frequency on the first and second postoperative day were lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).The incidence of gastric asthenia in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, eating time, anal exhaust time, defecation time, recovery time of bowel sounds were shorter than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Strengthening nursing intervention can reduce postoperative pain and promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with gastric cancer after radical operation, and it is worth popularizing.
