- Abstract: Objective To study the effect of early rehabilitation on ejection fraction and exercise tolerance of transradial of acute myocardial infarction patients with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 108 patients with acute myocardial infarction treated in our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 54 cases per group. The patients in the two groups were given routine nursing while the patients in the observation group were additionally given early rehabilitation exercise. The left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and 6 min walking distance were measured. Results After operation, there was no significant difference in LVEF and 6 min walking distance between the two groups (P > 0.05).After three months of treatment,LVEF was significantly increased than the day after surgery in the observation group, and were significantly increased compared with the control group (P < 0.05),while LVEF in the control group was decreased, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).The observation group had longer 6 min walking distance than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Early rehabilitation for patients with acute myocardial infarction treated with radial artery PCI can improve cardiac function and exercise tolerance.
