Abstract: Parry-Romberg syndrome (PRS) also known as progressive hemifacial atrophy, is a rare craniofacial disorder characterized by chronic hemifacial atrophy of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, fat, underlying muscle and bone. Early diagnosis and treatment of the disease are of great significance. This article will review the latest progress in the pathogenesis, early diagnosis and clinical treatment of the disease.
