Objective To explore the effect of craniocerebral drilling and drainage on neurological function of middle-aged and elderly patients with severe craniocerebral injury complicated with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods Totally 128 patients with severe craniocerebral injury complicated with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage were selected and randomly divided into control group and study group,64 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with conventional craniotomy, and the patients in the study group were treated with craniotomy and craniotomy. The neurological function, quality of life and operation time, consciousness recovery time, time of getting out of bed and hospitalization time were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment,NIHSS score of neurological function was significantly lower than that before treatment in both groups, and the study group was significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05).After treatment, quality of life evaluated by MOS SF-36 was significantly higher than that before treatment in both group, and the study group was significantly higher than control group (P <0.05).In the study group, the operation time, postoperative consciousness recovery time, postoperative ambulation time and hospitalization time were significantly better than the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion For patients with severe craniocerebral injury complicated with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage, craniocerebral drilling and drainage can effectively shorten the operation time, reduce intracranial pressure and improve neurological function,so it is worthy of clinical popularization.
