Abstract:
Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is an important method for the treatment of upper ureteral calculi, but the calculus fragments discharged during the treatment stimulate the ureter and make its mucosa edema, which leads to the failure to discharge the calculus fragments. The application of drugs after operation is the key to assist stone discharge. This paper reports a case of upper ureteral calculi treated by surgery, analyzes the treatment process of terazosin hydrochloride tablets combined with furosemide injection, and discusses the effect of drug-assisted calculus removal after operation. When the surgical treatment effect is not ideal and the stones cannot be completely discharged, the clinical pharmacist assists the clinician in the combined treatment of terazosin hydrochloride tablets and furosemide injection after the operation of upper ureteral stones,so as to relieve the ureteral spasm, relieve the pain and promote the smooth discharge of stone fragments.
