Abstract:
MicroRNA is a kind of about 18 to 22 nt long, non-coding small RNA, which regulates the expression of gene by promoting mRNA deregration or inhibiting mRNA translation, influencing cell growth, pro-liferation, differentiation, apoptosis,etc.MicroRNA have the function of oncogenes or tumor suppressor in the formation and development of tumor, thus maintain normal physiological and pathological activities of human body.This review focus on the role of microRNA in the occur-rence and development, early diagnosis and metastasis of breast cancer, and summarizes current research about microRNA and breast cancer.
