Abstract: The incidence of digestive tract cancer is increasing and tends to be younger. With the proposed concept of precision medicine, molecular targeted therapy that kills tumor cells by specifically blocking signal transduction leads a new era of digestive tract cancer therapy. This review takes MET variant digestive tract cancer as the entry point, gives an overview of its clinical features and molecular mechanisms, and summarizes the progress of MET targeted therapy for digestive tract cancer.
