Abstract: Area postrema syndrome(APS)is characterized by intractable hiccup,nausea and vomiting,which could occur in various central nervous system diseases and remain as one of the focuses in the field of neurology in recent years.The status of clinical and MRI researches of APS were reviewed in this article.
