- Abstract: IFIT1 is a highly inducible member of the interferon stimulating gene family (ISGs) with tetrapeptide repeats. It mainly exists in the cytoplasm and is regulated by interferon, a variety of antiviral role through a variety of mechanisms and pathways, and many viruses have evolved unique mechanisms to evade the limiting effects of IFIT1 and thus counter the body' s antiviral immunity, the unique anti-inflammatory effect of IFIT1 has been extensively studied in inflammatory diseases, Therefore, we mainly review the anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects of IFIT1 and the related mechanisms, so as to provide new therapeutic targets and ideas for the treatment of related diseases.
