Radiation-induced intestinal injury is caused by high dose of radiation in the abdomen and pelvis. The disease is characterized by complicated pathological mechanisms and poses significant challenges to clinical treatment, seriously affecting the quality of life and health of patients. Current treatments in modern medicine offer limited efficacy and are often associated with adverse side effects. Traditional Chinese medicine monomers inhibit inflammatory factors (e.g., tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-1β) and regulate the antioxidant enzyme system (e.g., improving the activity of superoxide dismutase) to effectively reduce the symptoms of radiation-induced intestinal injury with minimal side effects. Through targeted delivery of nanoparticles, nanotechnology can accurately deliver the active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine to damaged intestinal tissues, thus improving their bioavailability and therapeutic effects. This paper reviews the mechanisms of Chinese medicine monomers in the prevention and treatment of radiation-induced intestinal injury and the application of nanotechnology for enhanced efficiency. The paper also discusses the clinical potential of these approaches. These results provide a reference for future research and clinical practice.

Aim To explore the mechanism of the effect of rosiglitazone(Rsg)on the pancreatic cancer in diabetic mice based on the impact of PPARγ on glu-cose transport and metabolism. Methods A high-fat and high sugar diet combined with STZ was used to construct T2DM model;T2DM mice and normal mice were subcutaneously injected with PANC02 cells to construct a transplanted tumor model.T2DM trans-planted tumor mice and normal transplanted tumor mice were divided into the following groups:Rsg,PPARy inhibitor(PIN-2),rosiglitazone+PPARγ in-hibitor(Rsg+PIN-2),and normal transplanted tumor mice(NDM)and T2DM transplanted tumor mice(DM)were used as control groups,respectively.Tis-sue samples were collected after intervention.Tissue pathological changes were observed by HE staining. The expressions of Ki67 and PCNA proteins were de-tected by immunohistochemistry.Cell apoptosis was detected by TUNEL assay. The expression of PPARγwas detected by immunofluorescence. The expressions of Glucokinase,GLUT2,Nkx6.1,PDX-1RT-PCR were determined by Western blot. Results Rsg could significantly reduce the tumor mass, pathological chan-ges,Ki67 and PCNA expression of transplanted tumors(P<0.05),increase cell apoptosis and the expression of PPARγ,Glucokinase,GLUT2,Nkx6.1,PDX-1 proteins in NDM and DM mice(P<0.05).PIN-2 could reverse the indicator changes caused by Rsg in NDM and DM mice. However, compared with NDM mice, the above related indicators of the DM group mice were more sensitive to Rsg and PIN-2.Conclu-sions Compared to non-diabetic pancreatic cancer, rosiglitazone can more sensitively inhibit the prolifera-tion of pancreatic cancer with T2DM,induce apopto-sis,and reprogram the metabolism of pancreatic cancer with T2DM by activating PPA Rγ and altering the ex-pression of glucose and lipid metabolism genes,there-by exerting an anti-cancer effect.

Vesicular glutamate transporter 2(VGlut2)is expressed in the PVN of the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus(PVNVG1ut2)as an excitatory neurotransmitter, which regulates food intake and energy metabolism and plays an important role in maintaining homeostasis. However,it is not clear that the upstream and downstream projection network of PVNVGut2 neurons hinders the anal-ysis of glutamatergic neuron circuit function.Anterograde and retrograde tracer viruses were injec-ted into the PVN of VGlut2 mice by stereotactic brain injection technique to find the input and output nuclei of PVNVGlut2 neurons.Anterograde tracing results showed that PVNVGlut2 neurons pro-jected to the downstream medial amygdala(MeAD)and arcuate nucleus(ARC).Retrograde trac-ing results showed that PVNVGlut2 received input from the prefrontal nucleus(Pr),the reticular tegmental nucleus(RtTg),and the hypoglossal nucleus(12N).In addition,VGlut2 was found to be co-expressed with neuronal nitric oxide synthase(nNOS)neurons in the PVN.The anatomical net-work of PVNVG1ut2 neurons was analyzed by virus tracking tool, which laid the anatomical founda-tion for further study on the functional regulation of PVNVGlut2.

Objective:To explore the vigilant attention function and behavioral changes in sleep disordered breathing(SDB) children. Methods:Thirty SDB children (SDB group) and 30 normal children (control group) were selected from June 2022 to August 2023. All participants underwent continuous performance test(CPT-AX) (Go/Nogo) and behavioral test. The latency and amplitude of contingent negative variation(CNV) components under cue/uncue conditions in leads F3, Fz and F4 were measured. The t-test and Mann-Whitney U test were used to conduct statistical analysis by SPSS 25.0 software. Results:(1) There were no statistically significant differences in the number of correct responses, reaction time and number of false alarms between the SDB group and the control group (all P>0.05).(2) The latencies of cue-CNV in the SDB group(F3: 618.00(582.50, 644.50)ms, Fz: 603.00(579.50, 634.00)ms, F4: (606.87±25.07)ms) were longer than those in the control group(F3: (508.47±25.82)ms, Fz: 502.00(470.00, 520.50)ms, F4: 514.00(487.00, 536.50)ms) in leads F3, Fz and F4. The latency of cue-CNV of lead F4 in the SDB group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). The latencies of uncue-CNV in lead F3 and Fz in the SDB group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). Conclusion:SDB children have shown activation in the right brain area during attentional tasks, and the prolonged CNV latency may be a sensitive neuroelectrophysiological marker for early clinical assessment of vigilant attention dysfunction.
