As artificial intelligence technology rapidly advances, its deployment within the medical sector presents substantial ethical challenges. Consequently, it becomes crucial to create a standardized, transparent, and secure framework for processing medical data. This includes setting the ethical boundaries for medical artificial intelligence and safeguarding both patient rights and data integrity. This consensus governs every facet of medical data handling through artificial intelligence, encompassing data gathering, processing, storage, transmission, utilization, and sharing. Its purpose is to ensure the management of medical data adheres to ethical standards and legal requirements, while safeguarding patient privacy and data security. Concurrently, the principles of compliance with the law, patient privacy respect, patient interest protection, and safety and reliability are underscored. Key issues such as informed consent, data usage, intellectual property protection, conflict of interest, and benefit sharing are examined in depth. The enactment of this expert consensus is intended to foster the profound integration and sustainable advancement of artificial intelligence within the medical domain, while simultaneously ensuring that artificial intelligence adheres strictly to the relevant ethical norms and legal frameworks during the processing of medical data.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the clinical and imaging characteristics of the neurological damage caused by nitrous oxide (N₂O). METHODS: In the study, 10 patients in the Department of Neurology of China-Japan Friendship Hospital from October 2015 to February 2018 were retrospectively analyzed for the demographic data, the history of inhaled N₂O, clinical features, blood examination, electrophysiological examination, spinal magnetic resonance imaging and therapeutic efficacy profiles. RESULTS: The male-to-female ratio was 4:6 and it presented with an age-of-onset 17-26 years [the average age: (20.80±3.12) years]. The time from inhaled N₂O to onset was 1 month to 1 year [the average time: (6.95±4.19) months]. Paralysis in all the patients and numbness in 9 patients were the main clinical features, while positive Lhermitte's sign in 3 patients, urinary and defecation disturbance in 4 patients were also found. Blood examination indicated anemia in 2 patients, giant cell anemia in 1 case and small cell hypochromic anemia in 1 case. 3 cases had been treated with vitamin B12 in an external hospital, and the other 7 cases had abnormal increase in homocysteine levels. Electrophysiological examinations showed sensory and motor nerve involvement in 9 patients, and motor nerve involvement in 1 patient. The severity of lower extremity lesion was significantly heavier than that of upper extremity. Spinal magnetic resonance imagings showed that long segmental lesions were present in the cervical spinal cord of all the patients, 3 cases with long segmental lesions of the thoracic cord and 2 cases with spinal cord swelling. In 6 cases, the horizontal axis had an "inverted V-type" T2 high signal, 1 case was classified as "crescent", and 3 cases were "eight-shaped". The symptoms in these 10 cases were alleviated in varying degrees after stopping the inhalation of nitrous oxide, actively supplementing high doses of vitamin B12 and doing early rehabilitation exercises. CONCLUSION Myelopathy with nitrous oxide presents as paralysis and numbness in limb extremities. In imaging, cervical spinal cord damage is common, accompanied by thoracic spinal cord damage. The horizontal axis is more common in the "inverted V-type". Treatment with high doses of vitamin B12 is effective.

Objective?To evaluate the effect on removal of ovarian cyst by laparoendoscopic single site surgery and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS).?Methods?A prospective, single-institution study was performed for patients who were diagnosed benign ovarian cyst, underwent removal ovarian cyst, and adopted ERAS nursing care from June 2015 to June 2017. 40 patients who adopted laparo-endoscopic single site surgery were experimental group and 40 patients who adopted traditional laparoscopy surgery were control group. We compared the operation time, blood loss volume during operation, the time of getting out-of bed after operation, the postoperative exhausting time, the defecation time after surgery, the incidence of postoperative febrile and other complications, the time of hospital stay, and hospitalization expenses between the two groups. The measurement data was tested by t test, and the counting data was tested by χ2 test, which was statistically significant with P < 0.05.?Results?The results showed that the time of getting out-of bed after operation, the postoperative exhausting time, the defecation time after surgery and the time of hospital stay in experimental group was significantly shorter than the control group;Meanwhile the hospitalization expense was lower than the control group. These results were statistically significant (P < 0.05). While there was not statistically significant in the operation time, blood loss volume during operation, and the incidence of postoperative febrile and other complications between the experimental group and the control group (P > 0.05) .?Conclusion?ERAS combined with laparo-endoscopic single site surgery is helpful to the reduction of hospitalization cost and the clinical promotion and application.

The spinal manipulation in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a prominent clinical advantage in the treatment of chronic lumbar pain,such as low back pain,but the insufficient basic research on manipulation is a serious obstacle to its development.Using finite element analysis (FEA) can preferably simulate the mechanics under various kinds of spinal manipulation,analyze its action mechanism,test the hypothesis,standardize the operating practices,make quantitative,qualitative and optimal treatment plans,so as to provide an effective method for the basic research on manipulation therapy.This paper reviews the FEA studies of spinal manipulation in recent years,discusses the influence of different spinal manipulation on intervertebral disc,lumbar accessory structures,spinal loads and mechanical stability of the vertebral body.The results show that current FEA studies on spinal manipulation need to make the simulation method standardized and precise.Meanwhile,the research ideas of finite element method should be developed to guide the clinical application of spinal manipulation.
